Hi all, In the last week or so my truck has unfortunately developed from what I have found online is to be the "tea kettle whistle". Its not super loud but on a 1-10 its a solid 9.5 annoying LOL.
As soon as you go above 55mph you can hear this whistle and it sounds to be behind the dash. The...
Update: Just picked my truck up from the dealership. Both manifolds were cracked, had 1 broken bolt on the passenger side. They replaced both manifolds, Gaskets, Bolts, heat shields under the 5year 60k warranty (im at 57,200 miles) $0 repair cost to me
Same kinda LOL, the highway ends near where I work and there is a stoplight. Just passed the stoplight the right lane ends and if I am patiently waiting on the light and someone pulls up to the right lane thinking they are going to get me I lock my truck into 4wd high and launch it like John...
Finally got around to going to the dealer, They told me that cracked manifolds are covered under the 60k Powertrain warranty... I have an appointment scheduled for August 2nd so they can look into it. Ill post an update after I get that done
Thats a good idea! My truck is a 2020 and currently has 51k and has a exhaust leak on initial startup (drivers side only I think) and goes away when it warms up. I am going to go to my local dealership and see what they say
Last Saturday I installed a Powerstop Z36 Brake kit front and rear on my truck (Pads/Rotors) She stops on a dime now and the best part is when it rains and I back up I no longer have fog horn brakes LOL
Took the stock wheels off, I have Bridgestone Blizzak's on them and with the weather starting to break here in NY I didn't want to wear my winter tires out. Picked a set of OEM take off's for $1200 shipped. I like the look with the black wheels with the black RC running boards
Today I did my Airbags, Last week was a set of new Take off wheels/Tires to replace my oem Wheels with winter tires. I also installed a set of Rough Country Side steps

I installed a set of Timber Grove airbags on my truck. I looked at many different options but wasn't a fan of cutting the perch's off where the original bump stop went. These were direct bolt in, Took me about an hour and a half to install taking my time (no lift, Just the back of the frame on...
Its been consistent with the OEM Rims with old tires, OEM Rims w/ new tires and the complete set of OEM Wheels/Tires I just put on the truck. Ive been looking at a complete powerstop setup. I had them on my old ram and liked them, Maybe this will give me a excuse to order them up LOL
Ive never heard of that tool before. I have a very good dealer down the road from where I work, I will have to get in touch with them and see if something they can isolate for me
Ill have to check that, Would be very easy for me to pull the back ujoint straps off the rear end yolk and see how both ends feel. We race circle track cars and when we have a bad ujoint you get that slight vibration in the *** of the seat
I have the local ram dealership do all my mounting and balancing, I will have to reach out and see if they roadforce balance them. If not I know the place that I have mount and balance the wheels on my corvette (335/25/20 runflat rear tire) has a roadforce balancer and they could do the tires on...
Thanks!! Ill Check the driveshaft good, Ive looked at it but have really checked it over well. Its not a horrible vibration, just enough to be a nuisance
Hello all, About 5 months ago I bought a new to me 2020 1500. The truck had Pirelli Scorpion tires with decent tread on them but with winter approaching here in NY I wanted to replace them with a winter only tire. Before the new tires the truck seemed to have a vibration in the *** of the seat...
