Hmm...I'm running Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 33x12.5x22 on the OEM 22s. I have them set at 40 psi and I have the locking lugs. you think I can run without the wheel locks just temporarily to see if it makes a difference? I know that a missing lugnut can allow the wheel to put extra pressure on the...
yes, I don't have any spare normal lugs to try. I'm curious if that may be the culprit. Tires are like new and the truck itself only has 3500 miles on it.
that's what I'm thinking as well. I'm using my local discount tire. Is that something they would find while balancing them or do I need to specify and tell them to check that?
I'm wondering if this is my issue. I've been having a vibration around 43-45 mph, goes away until I reach 57-60 mph then it's back. Had the tires balanced 3 times and the alignment redone. Driving me nuts.
The tailgate ajar should just had to of been activated in Alfa. For the remote start, I'm not sure where it actually triggers from, but if you have the hood latch connector (dash tells you if the hood is ajar) and push button start, your truck is good to go as far as having factory remote start...
Yes - at the time when I was inquiring about the mirrors (it was a while ago and for one of my 4th gen’s) it was the parts manager at my local dealership. He swore up and down I could not put tow mirrors on my 1500. It would cause all sorts of electrical errors and problems. Now, whether he was...
It’ll be useless to anyone else lol. The fobs are one and done. Once programmed to a truck, they can not be reprogrammed to another. Ask me how I know that too lol.
Yep. There two settings to enable in Alfa, which I listed above. Then just get a new fob with the remote start button programmed to your truck and you’re good to go. My dad has had zero issues since doing this mod.
Just confirming you had the remotes programmed to the truck? You turned on remote start in your radio settings once you activated it with the programmer? Are you double pressing the remote start button on the fob?
I don’t know exactly when it started, it’s been going on for a little while now. But I’d say since having the new tires put on. I’m thinking it has to be an issue with the tires as well.
Ok guys,
Got an issue that driving me nuts. I have a vibration when driving that begins around 45 mph. It will go away once I get above 46-47 mph. It then returns around 57-60 mph and then will go away once more once I get above that. I have had my local shop roadforce balance my wheels and...
Only thing I can add to this thread is I put a 22" Lasfit slim lightbar on my front bumper. It's sleek looking (IMO) and I have the relay tied into my high beam switch so no aux switches installed in the cab.
