I also feel like my "thump" is getting worse. Specifically in the mornings and when ECO mode is active. I'm just letting it go though. I'm sure my dealer will say it's normal or they don't feel it. Once it gets real bad and can easily be identified I'll take mine in.
Are you guys confirming with a volt meter or test light that you have power coming from the plug that plugs into the light first? If you have power there, you can at least isolate it being to a problem at the actual tail light.
I've got lifetime alignments through the shop and have had to have my truck realigned at least 3-4 times now due to me messing with the suspension. But, every single time my wheel has been off center slightly, not crazy, but enough to annoy me. I just watched a video on making slight adjustments...
Please explain how to fix this!! I have the exact same issue. My steering wheel is off center to the right now after my alignment. i'd rather not have to take it back.
Ya, I saw the TSB for the 2019-2020 truck. But my dealer says they don’t feel the clunk sound so they weren’t going to do this. I figured for $100 of parts and an hour of my time it was worth it. It seems to have fixed it!
Here is the video where the guy with the TRX explains it better than I probably did, skip to about the 3 minute mark for the actual information and explanation. Also, these parts are listed for the TRX, but they work on all 5th Gen 1500s just fine.
So like many of you, I've had the famous "clunk" sound/feeling when going over bumps at low speeds. I've changed parts out, tightened every bolt down I knew to tighten, lowered my Bilstein 5100s thinking maybe they were getting maxed out. All for nothing. I found one video, which I posted on...
Stumbled upon this video detailing the body mounts that are bad from the factory. Went out and checked these on my 2023 and sure enough, I have the same ones this guy shows in the video. These parts he lists in the video will work on non-TRX trucks as I spoke to one member who did this and it...
My thump seems to be increasing or maybe I'm just noticing it more now. Either way, my trucks a lease, I'm letting it get to the point of it being real bad before I take it in because I know the dealer will say they don't feel it or it's normal operation.
I had the turn signal lever replaced also before getting a notice in the mail. Once I got the same notice you got, I called and my dealer said I should be good. But they had me bring it in to confirm the correct part number was actually put in when I had it replaced the first time. Turns out it...
I didn't have any issues with my 2021 AC or my current 2023 AC. In central Florida as well. I typically have to turn mine down after driving a little bit. And I stay hot lol
