Ordered on 7/3/18, and today on 7/24/18 I found out that my vehicle is in "I" status, which means "Built not ok'd."
This means assembly has been completed, but not sure if I is a good or bad thing yet...
Our family has a Mercedes where you have the option of pulling out the start/stop button and physically insert the key to start the vehicle. Not sure if these trucks have that option or not.
I find it strange they stated that the e-Torque production has only just begun. I thought a few on these forums took delivery already of Ram's with that engine. Surprised that they are only doing 10 trucks a day with Rambox though. Hope that increases in time.
After reading more about e-Torque I am now glad that I have it. A few extra mpg that really adds up, and I read the start/stop at a light is seamless and you can even spin tires. Not to mention the 48-volt system/battery provides more power than an alternator would, and it ends up being a good...
I plan on putting on a Carven Competitor exhaust system when they come out with the design for the '19's. I emailed them, and they are still in design phase for 19's. My concern is how will this noise cancelling system work with it? I want to hear the exhaust sound lol.
My salesman mentioned that there are differences in builds from the Dodge website and what you can actually get at the dealer, and it happens often. Best bet is to go to a dealer to build it there. Doesn't take long.
For example on July 3'rd you could only order a V6 or V8 w/eTorque for a...
Forgive the noob question, but searching for MOTS on google didn't really return any relevant results. Wondering what that is? I plan on creating a Mopar and U-connect account when I get the truck though.
Ordered on July 3'rd, and wondering when was anyone's first update from the dealer. Told salesman to e-mail me updates. Realistically not expecting much till about 3 weeks in for first update.
In Virginia I saw 1 2019 Limited and a 3500 on the road, and that's all for new Rams so far. Just drove from VA to NY and saw no new ones. Only ever seen 2 Rebels in Va.
Salesman never asked me about trade in till after we agreed on price for the truck, so that was not factored into the price negotiation at all. He also never asked how I would pay for it yet even after ordering, which I was happy about. When I got to pickup the truck, I plan on showing the...
Those in Canada can only get regular Hemi, and here in the US only the e-Torque from what I've read for the Rebel. That might have changed recently, or be different in certain parts of the country. Perhaps those regular Hemis are being shipped from Canada dealers.
I'm only reerring to...
Yeah, I'm going to ask the question to be sure, but from what I read I can get service done at any licensed repair shop. I plan on going through that dealership though, even though there is another 1 mile away.....they failed to work with me when ordering so they lost my business. That's...
The 360 degree camera is not available with any Rebel configuration, but the option shows up for Limited configurations. I think its only for 12" U-connect.
I was talking to the salesman, and he's says there are some differences from the builds on Dodge.com and what the dealers can actually build. Says it happens a lot with those placing orders.
