It's the 5th version of the thermostat on the 2025 RAM.
Part #: 68361650AH
Engines: 3.0l i6 hurricane ho twin turbo ess. 3.0l i6 hurricane so twin turbo ess.
Replaces: 68361650AD, 68361650AE, 68361650AF, 68361650AG
My 2023 Laramie Sport came with G/T resonators so I needed the muffler and drivers side resonator assembly part # 68517364AA.
The G/T Left Resonator has this number stamped on it C-9408-L the right C-9408-R the G/T muffler is stamped C-9396.
The cabin sounds fine it's not obnoxious at all. Yes it sounds throatier than the standard DT Hemi and worth it.
The muffler and drivers side resonator are connected as 1 long piece.
The passenger side resonator is on a separate pipe that slips into the Y after the muffler.
I know the manual says 87 is fine probably for better marketing.
These engines run best on premium I've seen gains with ignition timing and holding boost longer using 93.
Direct Connection states Fuel Type: Premium and it's the same Standard Output CAT1 Hurricane engine in the RAM.
I recently took a 230 mile road trip all highway keeping it at a steady 70 mph using 93 octane fuel getting 19.6 mpg hand calculated.
Prior to that doing all city short drives it was 16.5 mpg.
My 1sth oil change was at 1K then every 5K or 6 months after that. The 3.0L it's much easier to change than the 5.7L.
Interesting that GM's recall fix for the 6.2L is to go from 0W-20 to 0W-40 oil or replace the engine depending on the diagnostic code.
I didn't pay attention to it initially but did add coolant to the intercooler reservoir. At the time it was sitting just above the min level and filled to max level.
So far it hasn't changed it's level and it's been several weeks since it was filled.
The radiator reservoir is at the max level...
With the K&N CAI it removes the resonator tube that sits on top of the engine and the air filter and air box are no longer a choak point in the induction system.
For me there is a gain in turbo/bov sound and increased air flow so it's not a waste. I don't think there was a 41HP gain but it does...
After putting on my K&N CAI you will definitely hear the turbos and bov.
I put a Filter Wears pre-filter over the K&N filter to keep out any potential water since my sport hood vents are functional.
Today the K&N CAI got installed the CAI wasn't too difficult. Pay attention to the direction of the MAS sensor it's easy to get 180 degrees off.
I compared the Intake Air Temp before and after the installation it tends to be 2 degrees cooler than the stock box. It seems to recover faster from...
Instead of waiting for the S&B to finally be released, today I purchased the K&N online from Beef Cake Racing looking forward to the 41HP gain or at least audible turbo spool. lol
