How is THIS a black eye? By figuring out a simple flash to fix the grinding noise? I would say the exhaust manifolds or rear back window is more of an issue since they havent address a fix yet for those.
I changed my differential fluid with the mopar fluid and added the friction modifier, and it still does the grind. different problem
That was 6000 miles ago that I changed the fluid. Its a different problem...lol
good luck. Your going to be paying for a truck that just sits at the dealership until Ram figures it out. Easier solution is to have the dealer document the problem and the miles on the truck. Then when they understand what is causing the issue, it will get fixed. This isnt that big of a deal.
you should post again....We here, are aware there is a problem. Does it affect the driving besides making a noise? I dont know for sure, but I am still driving mine until a fix is presented. When they figure out the problem, I will bring my truck in. We would tell your dealership what is...
My receipt does not state the repair cost. under amount it says "warranty". I didnt even ask the dealer why. My last 2 4th gens both had broke the exhaust manifold studs, so this wasnt much of a surprise.
Got a 2019 2500 at work that needs a new left front fender. Granite Crystal metallic. Its not bad but there are a few dings and its pushed in a bit. no structural damage. whats a rough estimate on replacing and painting a left front fender?
loved the 4th gen air suspension for towing and ride UNTIL it started having issues. Opted to get my 5th gen without air suspension and ride quality is still very good. I feel the rear of the truck isnt as planted with regular suspension when towing.
why would they recall the truck for the few people who have experienced a cracked exhaust manifold? It doesnt effect driveability, just sounds awful. I get the whole cost issue, but I dont see them recalling the trucks over this. I think the back windows are without a doubt a more widespread...
Rebel shocks wont give you any lift. Rebel springs, which are the same as the ORP springs will give you about 1" of lift. If you get ORP/Rebel springs (Front - 68320249AC/Rear - 68262686AB) You will need the off road package shocks or the rebel shocks. It is in my mind a better option to get...
