My 2019 Laramie with the HK was very bass heavy. My 2024 Laramie is way more balanced and not so bass heavy. Not sure why, but I am very satisfied. My 2014 with the Alpine, was not as good as my current truck. None of them compare to the Wifes Volvo with the Bowers And Wilkins.
As am I. I may try building a new box for the stock subwoofer as its a fairly easy thing to do. It might help, it might not. I am sure it will cut down on the resonating. There is plenty of room behind the rear seat to make a better box for the oem sub. The frequencies going to the sub...
Your using the factory amp still? You replaced the 6 ohm stock sub with a 2 ohm infinity sub? What was the issue with the 10" not fitting, was it the adjustable ring to big?
"Yeah! I'll bet he also leaves his ring security cameras on even when he's not home."
"Yea let me just leave my camera on in my car while its parked in my driveway so it can record the garage wall. lol"

Why does anyone give a rats *** that he leaves his camera running? He is posting a helpful comment and a few of you *** clowns turn it into a ****show.
I replaced the idler pulley and that seems to have eliminated the squeal. I have the tensioner pulley and a new belt to put on as well, but the idler pulley did the trick for me. I think both pulleys are like 30 bucks from rock auto. It wasnt worth bringing the truck in to the dealership for...
So far I have replaced the idler pulley and my squeal is gone, although its 24 degrees and not -5. I have the tensioner pulley to replace as well, just havent gotten to it yet. As a reference, I bought the Gates pulleys from rock auto instead of OEM #38018 and #36313
Mine does the same thing on cold starts. Usually under 25 degrees fahrenheit. Mine is under warranty, but I ordered a new belt tensioner, belt and idler pulley. It was under $100 so I figured what the hell. Will let you know if it makes a difference.
confused on alot of fronts with the choices. Why put 3 way 6x9's in the rear door? The rear door has a cutoff so nothing but mid and lows are going to them. Infinty speakers are a 3 ohm speaker, why not use a quality 4 ohm speaker that is matched better to the rest of the system? Put some...
Installed the cdt slim 6x9's today. Already have the Faital speakers in the dash. I also did some sound deadening on the doors with some Noico sound deadener. I am pleasantly surprised how much brighter and tighter the CDT speakers are. Alot of the muddy midbass dissapeared, now I just have...
