If you do just make sure you have at least a -12 offset because at full turn the inner tire wall can rub the control arm because the arms are so “squared”
Dude. Same muffler here. It’s amazing to me how setting the gear limit has become second nature. I mean it is as normal as putting on seat belt, I don’t even think about it.
I have same MBRP muffler and the “hissing” noise was driving me crazy, so yes, I also plugged up the weep holes. To me it made a huge difference. Overall very good sound for the money and time spent. That damn stock muffler was #%+*=&# heavy! Truck lost 88 lbs.
Same here dude. Ridge Grapplers 50k now have 35x12.50x18 Recons. Gotta say I like them so far. Quiet and aggressive enough but most of all I like that the Recons don’t have a very rounded shoulder like the Grapplers do. Making the tire appear wider at the contact patch. Good luck. Your truck...
I’m shocked that the aftermarket world has no replacement hood bezels for Rebel. Certainly not looking to make them functional however I would love to eliminate some louvers. Would be cool to see something else.
I was hoping someone would post up their experience with .5” Bora spacers too. I bought a wheel that has a zero offset which I like however I need to get my tire a little further away from upper control arm at full lock. Even though it’s only .5” or 12mm I’m sure it’s strongly suggested to...
You can see I had to move these very close to the wheel face to clear. My new set has ceramic balance beads and I have no regrets. I hear a lot of negative feedback on beads.
Took all the fake bead lock bolts out. Attempted to paint them but when reinstalling some of the paint chipped on edges leaving bright silver exposed. Oh well. I will leave ‘‘em out for now and look for black replacements. Since I have balance beads it still drives great.
Happy to hear that. What a terrible feeling when damages happen out of your control. I would have been pretty upset and down. I can imagine how you felt when you got your truck back!
Blacked out skid plate and went with a all black theme. I don’t hate it however I think I’m going to put new set of tires on my other set of wheels and go back to bronze?
Agree 100%. Since I drive my Rebel as a daily I have zero regrets with 6112’s up front and 5100’s in rear. I am running 35x12.50’s and I’m telling you the ride is great! I’m using Core 4x4 upper control arms with Moog precision ball joints. My friends and coworkers are truck and Ram owners and...
