    Auto 4x4

Same. I'll use it in heavy rain if I start to feel it slipping a little. If the rain/snow isn't heavy enough to where you feel like you need it, then just leave it in 2WD. Though if you're not sure, 4WD Auto is fine. Also got for wet/snow mountain roads if there are lots of curves.

    Steering shake over bumps

If it shakes while going over bumps, it's likely 'bump steer'. It basically means there's not enough adjustment for height. I'm not familiar with aftermarket parts for the Ram, more familiar with Jeeps. For a Jeep it would mean you need an aftermarket drag link that allows for the height/angle...

    Keyless entry

The best way would probably be to add an aftermarket system. You could get a keyless entry system, or get an alarm with keyless entry. Not difficult to add as long as it has power locks.

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

    Yup, on the list

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

I don't have any OEM speakers left. So it's 2X Infinity 6X9 and 2 Infinity 3.5" that are 3ohm. Plus the Focal 6X9 (front) that are 4ohm. So it sounds good now, not sure if changing anything/everything else to 4ohm would make it sound better or not really make much of a difference. Plus tempted...

    The other vehicle option

51K Yup, needed a cam phaser replacement. It would make an awful sound on startup when cold. I have a video link somewhere. Definitely a good thing to happen while you still have the warranty. They have to remove the body to replace it. I told my wife that if it wasn't under warranty and...

    The other vehicle option

My wife has a blue 2019 Expedition Limited with the 3.5EB. Really no complaints, though we had to take it in for cam phasers a few months ago. Luckily under warranty. It's more of our long distance family vehicle since it has the third row seat and we have 3 boys. Keeps them from killing each...

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

It's as I stated on the Crutchfield page under 'Excellent power handling' https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R307F/Infinity-Reference-REF307F.html I might consider doing Focal components later and putting the tweeter in there. Though might sound better leaving a 3.5" coax in there.

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

I was wondering if that would be an issue. All the other speakers are Infinity 3ohm. Per the verbage on the Crutchfield site: 'these 3-ohm speakers work in combination with the speaker wire in your car so your car stereo sees a true 4-ohm impedance.' So I don't know if it ends up being the same...

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

It's definitely in there now. Though the info isn't 100% accurate. For example, Crutchfield says the Focal 6X9 above won't fit in the front door, but fit in the rear. I saw in the reviews that someone put them in a Ram 1500. They fit just fine. Another thing is if you select the base 6 system...

USB and CarPlay doesn’t work when hot outside.

It should be under warranty because I bought it new about 6 months ago and it has 4300 miles on it. I'll see if they will get me the part # on the old one assuming they actually change it and don't just tell me they couldn't reproduce the problem. I'm testing whether cooling down the flash...

USB and CarPlay doesn’t work when hot outside.

Ok, I made an appointment for my first service and put the part # in the appointment request, 68397098ae. Probably should have made the appointment a few weeks ago so it would still be hot enough to make it fail. Hoping for a heatwave for when it's in service lol. Also asking them to fix the...

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

If you put your truck specs into Crutchfield, it will suggest 3ohm speakers which will sound pretty good. I started with the Infinity Reference when I didn't have an amp. Any of those 3ohm options would be good.

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

Yes, it would be plug and play. However, they're 4ohm whereas the OEM speakers are 2ohm. So they will have less volume, but not by much.

    Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

I was looking at reviews of higher quality speakers. Since I'm not very skilled, figured I should stick with a 2 way 6X9 because that's what my system is already tuned for. I saw that I had about a week left on my 60 day return policy with Crutchfield, so replaced my front Infinity Reference...

Buying 1st truck - advice on bed length

I bought it for towing and as a DD and family vehicle. Also because I wanted the last V8 that I'll probably own. I rarely have much in the bed. In the 5 months I've had it, it's been used for a few home depot trips, never nearing 50% capacity. The only thing appealing about the longer bed was it...

Buying 1st truck - advice on bed length

I'm on my third short bed half ton, previous two were F150's. I bought the latest Ram about 5 months ago and passed on one that had the longer bed. There was one in my area that had the options I wanted. Ended up passing on it because I don't really need the extra cargo space and figure it would...

Sounds correct, it's supposed to be 1" taller than stock.

    33X12.50X20 on stock Black Rims

Milestar Patagonia are complete garbage, especially if you plan to take them offroad. Maybe they will hold up ok on the street, but here's what can happen when you take them wheeling. The tread starts coming off. Seen this on multiple offroad vehicles in CA.

    33X12.50X20 on stock Black Rims

275/60/20 seem to be the most trouble free size to run 33's. I haven't decided if I'm going to stick with 20" or go to 18". If I stick with 20", that's the size I'm going to get (no lift or level). Might try to get a set of Rebel 1" suspension take offs (or BTS). I like that height. Other sizes...
