Changing out the wheels and tires is much less work than the emblems. Mine is a '23 Big Horn Sport and came with 20" chrome wheels. I ended up buying new wheels and tires. If you want the OEM black wheels, maybe find someone selling take offs. Then sell yours.
Yup, pics or it didn't happen! Especially the Trans Am.
Also a Terminator fan btw! Some of the few 80's movies I've been able to get my kids to watch (and like).
The best source for 'real' MPG is probably Fuelly: www.fuelly.com
People keep track of their mileage and upload it to their server. Unlike social media where people are somehow getting 10+MPG more than they should be haha.
When they say "most likely won't be able to duplicate those issues", likely correct. They don't work very hard to get the issues to come up. Probably turn it on a few times and see if it will shift. Then mark 'unable to reproduce'.
Bolts rotted off - Check for other rust issues. Could be an...
Bed liner - Just depends on how much you use the truck bed. My last truck I had a tri-fold bed cover so used a bed mat for a while and that was fine. I bought a bed mat for my current truck, but not getting a bed cover. So figure it could blow away if there's nothing holding it down and no bed...
I saw an orange Ram truck the other day. I wish that color was available when I got mine.
I really like the 2024 BTS Blue. Though ended up getting a better deal on 2023 that was still on the lot.
That guy sounds like a real downer. Though I believe most on here don't recommend doing the oil changes at 10K. Many recommend doing them closer to 5K (opinions welcome). I did my first oil change about a month ago at 6500. Wife gave me a bit of a hard time saying that if the truck says 10K, do...
Good to know! Mine eventually faded away. Though I'm sure it could happen again if I'm parked near the sprinklers at work and there's wind.
Did you need the buffer to use the Sud Factory?
I'm happy with my 2023 Big Horn with Etorque. Though I wanted a new one with no miles at the time because I got burned buying a used F150 a few years ago (needed a new engine after 5K miles). If you don't want the ETorque, definitely save some money on a used truck. They do extend the warranty...
Ok, good to know. I'll have to test that out. Probably get the power steps then if that's the case. I feel bad watching my son struggle to climb in lol.
Bumping this because I'm trying to decide which ones I want.
I was thinking of getting the power steps, but might get non-power for door ding protection. These RC steps caught my eye.
I'd try Fox Acoustics or Net Audio. If they only list for 2024, maybe get the measurements and see if you think it would fit. Otherwise, probably going to have to get a custom box built. Or wait for one to come out.
Agree with this regarding compliant. I have 40 psi in mine and expected them to be at least somewhat noticeably stiffer than the OEM tires. I've been wondering if I don't have enough psi in them, seem very soft.
I got my wheels replaced Saturday and listed the OEM set that afternoon for $450, 6800 miles on them. Sensors not included. Sold last night for $380. So that was quick haha! Of course, wondering if I should've asked for more money, or if I just got lucky that someone wanted them. I didn't want...
You don't list your gears, but assuming it's a BTS, you have the 3.21. I would not consider larger than 35" on a 3.21 since you can't regear these trucks. Not to mention wear and tear on the ball joints and steering.
Probably too early to tell, but I just had them installed on Saturday. I got 275/60/20 in the D load range. Seem smooth so far. I can't really tell much of a difference when compared to the OEM tires.
