I'm glad the OP is thrilled with the hemi. I'm surprised he is, with looking at his screen name. I'm satisfied with the 5.7 but I feel it is far from a beast.
I guess I'm in the minority here because I have no problem with the mds. In fact, I hardly know when it hooks in and out. The eTorque...
Thanks.
Yeah, I know that's an option but I'm just plain lazy when driving and don't want to mess with the phone. Plus I tend to hop around 4 or 5 stations when driving.
Now, I do use the Bluetooth on my boat which works great. I tried to see if I could get a 5 or 6 month contract that I...
The cover is supposed to have a "pucker" in the material in between the tailgate and the bed. This way it will fold up as you close the tailgate. It then is not being pinched. If it was tight it would likely fold down when closing the tailgate and get pinched between the bed and the tailgate...
My Guardian trial expired a year ago. Never used the service while it was free, this truck and previous trucks. I do renew SiriusXM. For a while, I had 3 vehicles that I was paying for SiriusXM. I hate horsing around with the stupid phone just to listen to music. It stays in my pocket....
Probably the wire to the shade switch isn't tight or off completely. A couple of years ago, there were a few owners that had the overhead wiring not connected. There were instructions for the diy guys and how to disassemble the overhead console if you want to go digging.
My update just came over the air last week. I've been driving the truck for 2 years (see sig) with no updates until last week.
Now, driving this evening, my SiriusXM quit.. Switched to fm an the SiriusXM button wasn't lit and I could not bring it back up. About a half hour later, it was back...
The seats are not air conditioned. They are ventilated and they pull / suck air into the seat. Easy to verify. Put the "ventilated" seat on high and put a piece of paper against the back of the seat(where your back touches). The paper will stay. The seat bottom is the same. The paper will stay...
If you are looking to "save" money. Run the 22's for 25,000ish miles then swap. What I did was to run the stock combo (can't really get the rough ride complaint with them in the Limited but whatever) until I got most of the tread life out of the original Goodyears then swapped to 305/45r22...
The system is defaulted to low for the driver when you have it set up to come on when starting the truck. No adjustment other than changing it once you're going. I'm pretty sure the blowers are located inside the seat bottom and back and just exit around the bottom. Just guessing
They've "leaked" pricing on the F150 over the weekend. They're gonna be over $80,000 for a Limited 4X4 hybrid with all the boxes checked. The King Ranch and Platinum I think end up in the low to mid 70's. They won't be cheap....
I'd suspect there could be a tweaked door skin. If you hit it hard enough to tear off the handle, the metal that isn't very thick ,probably is bent which will need to be addressed. The white truck will make it harder to see any dents.
I was lucky as my update was successful but it took overnight for it to give me the update successful message. It was in the garage when attempting it and I think it must help to be outdoors.
Maconi brought up the 2021 F150 thread with 4 or 5 pages but whatever.... There are a half dozen threads at least on the a/c .....
If I had to buy a 2021 truck, the F150 would be the winner for me. One, the Ram would virtually be the same as I have. Two, I like the F150 inside and out. Plus...
