Yep, a "good" tech can diag a constant drain fairly easily and that's that. The problem is the ones that aren't open all the time. Regardless, the OP needs to drop off the truck. Will it immediately get looked at? Hopefully because it'll be a "comeback". Still, plan for a couple of days and hope...
If the battery did pass a couple of days ago, then you could have a draw that's killing it. Your dealership is going to need to keep it for a day or two in order to diagnose something like that.
Drop off the truck and get a rental. Not the end of the world. They might, I say might, be able to...
The more electronics the more battery drain to keep everything "alive" when it's shut down. My C7 Corvette would go dead in 3 weeks if it wasn't driven. I had to keep a Battery Tender on it. When the State of Michigan shut down in March I put a Battery Tender on the Ram because I figured it was...
Oh I know why. I'm realize I can mess with the dimmer but I just leave it alone. I would in a situation that I had to clearly see what's on the display but5i don't need to know who is playing on the radio and I can navigate without looking at the screen, too. ;)
I agree. That's the first thing I would look at. I had that happen a couple of times back in the 80's before I moved to Florida dealing with the salt and slop in Michigan winters. Never had issues down south but I'm now back in Michigan so I'll see what happens. A plus now is I'm not daily...
I was only occasionally towing when I bought this Ram. Now I'm not doing any towing. If I towed anything 7,000+lbs on a regular basis, I'd have a 3/4 ton in the driveway.
29,500 + miles on mine. I don't think I have chip #1 in my bumpers. Plenty of interstate runs between Florida and Michigan. My windshield is now starting to get a sandblasted look to it.
Here you go
Edit. I did a restart, then cleared Chrome cache and did a force stop. I now can access the main forum page. I'll see once I finish this edit and save it if I can get back to the main page.
Y'all got me thinking about it a little more. There is one thing Ram has that I would miss. The air suspension. Since moving from Florida to Michigan last fall, I have realized the smoother ride in the Ram. In Florida, the roads are smooth for the most part and up here in Michigan, just the...
If I was swapping trucks right now, I'd be owning an F150. I've been going back and forth for about 12 years, maybe more. I wouldn't buy another Ram. Not because I'm unhappy with it because it is virtually the same as what I have. I like the new F150 interior and I'm fine with the exterior. But...
I just throw on OEM blades when I need them. I leave the wipers on automatic and let them wipe at whatever speed it picks. I use glass cleaner on the insides and just dry off the outside after washing. I keep my vehicles clean all the time and don't spend anymore time on the windshield than any...
