You'll know the difference. My center stack right side went from 54-57 to 46-51. The big thing was the remote start climate not working. THAT really makes me upset and awaiting Dealer to take in truck to "fix"/STAR case.
JUST beware of all that is done and watch out for the problem I am having that I described after TSB done ref Remote Start, AC not engaging when used from last setting. MAKE sure U check that is U get TSB done.
YUP, I got my $4.99 clamp in truck. Even with the TSB done, I do not think the AC will do well in August when temps hit 110. At that point, clamp go on for a while, if I still have the truck.
without a doubt. makes more sense, instead of tying up techs for 2 whole days of MX, pulling out HVAC boxes and such. AND NOW, I still have the problem of no engagement of AC/HEAT on remote start and they got no idea why.
I got a good dealer, but so have the problem of the Remote start no longer initiating AC/HEAT when remote started. SO I have no idea if will even get fixed.
My dealer kept my truck 2 full days. Took in the morning, kept till the following afternoon. Since they have no loaners, they gave me a ride home and picked me up the next afternoon. AC works better, now if they can just figure out the programming issue that stops the AC/HEAT from engaging on...
BUT U know, except for this, TRUCK has been spot on (with the few random recalls done). BUT do I really like the Remote Start/Cool da Ride cause when it gets to 110 out, guess UI be spoiled. But at 50K a pop, U know.
NAH, not advice sir, just a very definitive suggestion. Looks like I am on a serious wait ref this issue. The dealership is booked out 45 days in advance ref loaner vehicles and my truck will have to return and stay at dealership so they can further investigate ref initiate a STAR case. Puts...
YES, vent temps center stack was in the low to high 50's. Now temps depending upon vent: 46-49-50. A lot better. BUT now I have no Remote Start ref AC turning on as set: SO If U get it done, before U even leave dealership: Start truck, set AC on high. Turn off. Get out of truck. Lock...
OK, SO, TSB done, like a week ago. Have been back to the Dealership twice since. I now have an issue: The remote start works but will not initiate the AC/HEAT setting that U leave set when U leave truck,. IE., the reason for the remote start is voided out. It just not turn on the AC/HEAT...
WELL, took truck back to Dealer today and spent over 3 hours there. AC TSB done, and considering, not bad. However, there is a glitch (might just be my truck). But when U remote start, the AC will not turn on as it did before (hence the reason for remote start)(No AC/Blower action on remote...
YEAH, RAM "found" out that the Gen 5's with the "redesign" had issues and corrected the problem in the late 2020's and so on, unfortunately for an unknown number of us, we got a great truck just got the short end of the stick ref AC.
Boy w
Boy would 45 be great here. With TSB I have seen 46 once out of center stack right vent. The most they go down to is 48 at highway speed when driving at 60 mph. But that a heck of a lot better than the 57 I had. And only the center stack right gets that cool, the others are like 49...
