Not that I have seen. Only did it once. Started draining immediately after and then I did the ole lil trick in post # 571. Works for me, as mine was basically not draining till I did the lil pencil trick. And no, do not shove it up there like it is a breaker bar, LOL. Just barely till U feel...
OK, that drain on some of the 2019's PPL have reported and even a lil on mine is an issue. With it being horizontal, they are getting in some cases clogged, etc. So the solution I found was this: Get brand new pencil, put in as far as U can go eraser end, and dislodge stuff and U will see...
U have to meet the "requirements", take truck into dealership and "complain" specifically for the conditions related and tell them U want TSB done, and best while U still have a warranty. Not a recall, U could be stuck for the bill if outta warranty.
Sounds like unfortunately U have poor Service at that dealership and the other one knew of the problems at that dealership probably from past experience and wants no part of it. U should not be hearing ne whining noise, something binding, and there should be no scratches or grease all over...
YUP, my issue now also. Something in the NEW FLASH with the upgrade changed the operation of the Remote Operations. FWIW, I checked several 2021's that had the TSb built in now, and they had the same lousy operation now also.
YUP, why I posted my temps in post 1088. The only thing U may find is when U set temp and speed and shut off, remote start may not bring back those settings, run at Reduced rate and controls not lit till U hit push to start. Could U check and report back??? Seems the NEW BCM flash derated the...
The fan blew full speed if that was where U left it when U shut off the truck. With the TSB, BCM was flashed because of new sensors and other stuff and the NEW BCM flash ref the remote start sucks, IMHO.....
HAPPY because better than before. Unhappy, because the Remote Start Heating/AC function has been severely downgraded, hardly works till U enter truck and hit push to start, then functions properly from preset when U turned truck off. Further, I can still do the AC hack with clamp or valve and...
ok, WELL here we go. Temp was 87 degrees, humidity 65%, parked partially under a tree. I will say when temp goes over 90 degrees and truck is heat soaked, it is ok, will not do as well as
pictured. I had the AC TSB done near end of June: This is 26 Jul 2021. Posting because a lot of PPL were...
My MY 15 ED had 400 W. But to get serious, if U want to run ne thing, pick up a 2000 W pure sine inverter. U can wire into battery with heavy AWG and have in cab of truck, or U can mount under hood, or use alligator clips and run off of battery.
Remember, the center stack 12V only works with "key" on. U would have to go to yer interior fuse box and change setting on fuse to have the socket have power all the time.
OK: caveat: on MY 19, my center stack is fused "ignition only". U have to look at the socket cover and see if it has a...
Got the ole single CD player in my early build (Apr 2018) MY 19 Bighorn, works for me. I usually either listen to satellite, my thumb drive or drop a Janis Joplin CD into the player.
A couple of months ago, I bought a new Blue Ray player to replace one that died, was an original Sony. My son...
U probably will not. But some PPL have, and it all goes IMHO mostly to poor design. But I am not a mechanic or an engineer, just an end consumer. I just had to find a way that worked, and that was my lil under $3.00 fix. Kinda a just in case thing, LOL...
My truck is a 2019 Bighorn. Unknown if the AC drain is in the same place on the 2021's, but I would think since now a Gen 5 truck, should be in same place with IMHO a poor design. Allows all that wind and debris and stuff to blow up in that area from the drivetrain, hence my lil hack.
Be happy. I have a 2019 Bighorn, bought in 2018, so my warranty up 1 August. They just did the AC TSB repair on the truck, and good thing under warranty, because they pulled everything to include the dash and took 2 full days with a mechanic at dealership. Glad I did not have to pay, LOL. SO...
