I found the TSB helps, BUT not where it should be. Since gonna be like 107, probably gonna put the clamp back on the water pump outlet hose for a bunch of days to get temps below 40 degrees, instead of the 47 it blows after driving a while.
U will still find a temp difference between 3-5 degrees from drivers side to Pax side, at least on MY 19. After TSB, my vent temps have dropped to 48 degrees, and if running hard, center may get down to 45/46 degrees. Make sure you want the TSB done and have at a reputable dealer, because they...
YES. I had the TSB done, did cool down a lil more, but the remote function was affected, IMHO at least 50%. There are times my Remote Function will not even engage the AC. But I can say, below 40 degrees, the heating remote function works, you just have to remember these trucks are too smart...
The above is why I installed this lil bit of 5/8th inch hose and a 1/2" - 3/8" piece 90 degree PVC to facilitate draining, and slow down on the debris getting into the drain and clogging it up.
Washed truck about week ago. Took to dealership on 10 Feb for Oil change and tire rotation. My rotations are free. I also always have full synthetic put in and I hand them a Good Synthetic Oil Filter. ALSO had major issue truck running too hot: running 217-227. I did use my scanner and found no...
OK, have a MY 19 Bighorn CC 4 X 4. Back in 2018/late got Full Color Matched Tonneau Cover installed by Dealer. The cover works as intended. The only issue, sometimes when I close the Cover, the drivers side does not latch. SO I have grown accustomed to just pushing down to insure the side is...
NE body remember the old Mustangs and Mavericks, with the flat against the back end gas tank fills. Boy, run them pumps on high on those and U were guaranteed to get a octane treatment, just a saying. Try backing off and a lil slower. ALSO, suggest after 1st click, just round up and stop...
THESE tailgates are really easy to steal, due to how lite and how they sit in there. Just FYI, they actually make a tailgate lock band that goes around the right side "pole" (tailgate hinge cup), keeps it from being easily stolen, if U leave it unlocked. I personally, have a large GM radiator...
Good luck on the trip and pls report back. I have a MY 19 Bighorn, stock tire size 18". I got rid of the artificial balloons and went with Falkens, "C" Rated, did not need "E" tires. The C work great for me and did well in our last February snow storm which saw 8 years of snow in one night not...
I hate to say it but what U reported no surprise. Nothing I hate more than to hear: Could not duplicate. But if U put on AC and all U get is hot air that gotta be a clue. I wish U luck in yer endeavors to get yer AC repaired. I personally do not buy Blend door issue: In my very minute...
When they did the TSB on mine, with the changed software updates, and the new sensors moved, and others installed, etc, it slowed down the Remote Start Cooling Fan operation by like 50%, so I do not anymore get the great Remote Operations. I did check (3) 2021's on the lot and they all work like...
DONE, and improved, so I took off the temp hose clamp. However, when done, they also reflash and it changes the way Remote Start/Climate control works, degrades by like 50%, just so U know.
No, just same poorly designed system. But if U lost all cooling, that sounds like a Freon Problem, not a module problem, IMHO... U could try a reset on entire system by pulling battery cables etc, but if U got fan running, but hot hair, and all turned on, really sounds like a Freon issue...
I enjoy riding in/driving this truck. I just went over my 3/36,000 1 August 2021, so I went and plucked down $1,725 for Maxcare warranty. The truck rides great, functions as intended except for lousy AC, and I had the TSB done and now it is tolerable. SO for me, truck fine. Pulls my trailer when...
I got a MY 19 I bought early when they 1st came out in 2018. Got 18K on Odometer now, great truck, my only issue was the AC of course. I just bought a Maxcare warranty for another 5 years , that is how much I like this truck even with my lowly Bighorn Trim. Heck, I had the truck 3 weeks, and...
W/W container has no dip stick. Coolant has a plastic dipstick, so that difference keeps me OK on MY 19. But I have no coolant problems and the Dealer fills up the W/W everytime I go in. Now, I did see, that FCA puts the minimum fluids sometimes in new vehicles and I had to add over a quart to...
