My 0-60 improved with the Vararam installed, and when I had it on my 4th gen it was on year round, heavy snow and all. It's not that easy to get snow up there.

If you leave the bracket on you should be fine. And that's what I was hoping you'd say. The stock tune is so inconsistent, I was hoping Jay's felt consistently powerful. I need to get the process down for sending him the files to modify. Do you let the T2 read the original backup, then send...
With most of my shutters removed, my normal temps now get up to 205*, then usually drop back to under 200* as opposed to the 224* it got to before I removed them. I also have a Vararam so it helped get a little more out of that as well.
@Mopar_maxi, my biggest reason for wanting a tune is how...
Do you have pictures of the shock installed? Something isn't right. I believe setting 5 should still leave you with a small amount of rake.

I'm still impressed with this truck compared to my 4th gen, I can only imagine the smile on my face after a Greene tune on the 5th gen.

I think 1/2" is what I saw, so that should get you level. Here's a thread with exactly that installed.

I have the 5100s all around, at the 5th setting. This retains a slight rake which is what I wanted. I also got RC UCAs but they definitely weren't needed in my case. The ride is no different than the Bilsteins that came with the Rebel. If you want it perfectly level, I've seen people add a small...
I've been going back and forth whether I want a full tune yet or not. Jay will be my tuner as well. He's got my business for life with what he's done for me. When I had his tune in my '12, it was half of what it cost now, which is what's holding me back. I'm not worried about the warranty as I...
If I wasn't able to fit my arm between the radiator and grille I would not have removed them. I usually break stuff when I try and remove difficult components and wasn't ready to do that on my truck just yet lol.

It's not. The middle shutter is powered by the motor directly on the 5th gen. There's no arm on the motor like there was on the 4th gen, but there must be something monitoring the range of motion because the shutters have a greater range with the bracket removed.

I'm not 100% sure I'm this, but I believe the ECM is looking for a specific range of motion, and the bracket that the shutters are moved by keeps it in that range. I removed all of the shutters except the middle and bottom shutters and kept the bracket on and did not get the CEL. I then tried to...
I love the Rebel aesthetics, I don't plan on doing much off-roading. Get what you like. There are a couple things that you can't get with the Rebel that I wish I had, but I really enjoy the truck.

I think you have the spring seat upside down, which is why it's sitting so high. I stole this from another thread but this is how it should look.

Yes it is. The angle is part of why something seems off. I replaced UCAs and it looks like it was a waste. I'm not unhappy with the look. I do think that when I go bigger with the tires, I may want it a little more level than it is.
