If you mean the icons have all disappeared then that's a byproduct of disconnecting the battery, they'll reappear in the next few start ups.

Another update, I took it back out and checked how the grease was holding up. Ended up putting a bunch more grease in the slip yoke as it looks like maybe I didn't put enough in there to begin with. It's even better still now. This is the best my transmission has felt since owning it. I'm at 27K...
There really wasn't anything in the other end either. I hosed it out with cleaner and the only way I could tell that there was any sort of lubrication was the water was slightly black. Otherwise it looked just like the end pictured. The clunking between P, D and R is gone. I definitely recommend...
Have any pictures of where you greased exactly? I've never removed a driveshaft but I'm willing to give it a go if it'll smooth things out.

It's really not as bad as you're making it. Changing the oil is far more inconvenient than adding transmission fluid. Is it a pain? A little, but it's not the ordeal you're making it out to be.

No. It's not bad, resonators are for sound modification only. I suggest starting with the resonator and giving it some time. Like I said, I thought it was a little loud for me at first, but I wouldn't change it at all now, in fact I kind of want it louder now.

The resonator helps a little, but it's mainly designed to address any drone, which they claim doesn't exist. The cold starts will likely be loud still. It will tame down a little once it has some miles on it. I was in the same boat as you and added the resonator. I'm currently thinking about...
I did the same on my 2012 and never had a problem for the 80K miles I ran the tune. The earlier 4th gens had more of a problem with the lifters too. Neither this truck nor the 2012 were babied if that helps.

My MDS transition was always very noticeable. I have it turned off in my tune but I never saw much of a difference anyway.

The Trinity allows you to monitor different parameters with it's gauges, the I3 does not allow for monitoring. There may be other differences but that's the biggest one.

It's said they can see breaks in the communication with the PCM and there are other indicators buried in there as well.

Yes, if you send yours in to be unlocked your truck will be down until they send it back. If you buy an unlocked one you're good to start tuning once you swap in the unlocked PCM.
