All modern exhaust systems hang from rubber bushings, but that doesn’t mean you can’t expect a precise fit... and your tips look lower on the driver’s side :p Just busting your chops. Looks good(y)
^^^ I know that the Laramie, Sport, and Rebel have the wheel indentations, and thought I read that the Limited did as well, but not 100% certain. Hopefully someone will chime in...
Since I’ve been driving I was only without a truck for about a 6 months, and it sucked! You never realize how much you need a truck until you don’t have one, especially if you own a home. Welcome aboard (y)
I have the Bora spacers on order (1” front/1.25” rear). There are a few related threads... here’s one: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/wheel-spacers-again.21475/
^^^ No way around the cold start, but just feather the throttle while driving through the neighborhood and you’ll be fine. Surprisingly, the tone gets deeper with a couple hundred miles on it (y)
Why don’t you get the set-up that you want, install, and then decide if you need spacers... and the size as applicable? Nonetheless, if you go with an offset wheel, and then add spacers, your offset will be reduced but the spacers’ width. Also, FYI... the rear wheel track in about a 1/2”...
No, on the undercoat. You only had the ‘16 for 4’ish years. You’ll probably have this one about that long. Yeah, I know... I do the same, but I’m talking about reality. Every time a buy a new vehicle, everyone says, “How long you keep’n this one?”. My, “A long time,” response is usually met...
Yes, the bed has drain holes near the cab. My bed has the factory spay-in liner, and I can still see daylight between some of the panels near the tailgate too. It would have to rain pretty hard for a long time to gather any measurable water. I agree w/above... the holes are probably filled w/debris.
... also, doesn’t the Rebel already have a 1” spacer in the rear. Do you have to remove it and add a 2”, or just leave it in place and add the 1” spacer on top of the existing 1”...?
Edit: Just to clarify, my Gen 4 Daystar kit the 2” spacers in front (attached to the top of the shocks), and 1”...
Looks great (y) I had Daystars on a Gen 4 w/OEM control arms, and never had any issues, but would probably install the Mopar version on my Rebel. What’s the part# and cost? Any issues with the install? Any tips you’d like to share? I used a hammer to break the lower arm loose, but might pick up...
Most dealerships include ADMs for “limited production”, “special edition”, or any other catch phrase labeling, and it’s a joke! Ford loves to do this w/their GT350s (earlier) and GT500s. I’m sure you’ll see the same on the Ram TRX too. Problem is, some of the gotta-have’it-now folks pay these...
^^^ Very little bass at +4, then there is something definitely wrong w/your system. I have mine set at 0/flat, and it thumps... When playing around with the settings I moved it to +3, and it’s way too much bass... and I like bass!
Very nice! Love black... when clean, which is a job as you know, or will know... I have three black vehicles now. I said never again, then purchased a new black Rebel w/black appearance pkg :ROFLMAO:
This question comes up a lot on all car/truck forums. Buy now, or wait... I too have asked the same question.
Going from one Gen to another, then worth the wait. Within Gen, then buy now... “Generally” any changes within Gen are negligible and you can usually get a better deal, but of course...
^^^ I’m going to say no to the MX4, which I wanted as well. You would have to either modified the rails or remove the brackets. Even the modified bracket will still interfere with the rails. I guess anything is possible, but it’s going to involve some work...
I have a black (heat magnet) 2020 Rebel crew. It was 98 degrees today (sunny and humid) w/sun shade opened... I set the controls to auto/72 for driver and passenger. It was comfortable for 4 adults on a 2 hour trip. No complaints...
I installed a AMP Research BedXTender. Had it on a few other trucks as well. Not only does it provide a trunk-like compartment in the bed, it will also extend the bed by about 2 feet.
Glad that you’re happy w/the the sound. While there is no packing inside the muffler to alter the tone, for some reason it sounds better with more miles on it. Perhaps it’s the soot build-up that tweaks the flow, but tone gets a little deeper, which is great!
During my install I noticed the the...
