Supposedly 2020 would get OTA updates, but I've never gotten one. I just uodated myself. Even the Uconnect website said I was up to date even though I was two updates behind according to available revisions.

Y you could just buy a key fob with tailgate release and get it programmed to the truck. That's what I did on mine. $50 fob off eBay and was $100 to get it programmed by a locksmith
