Try what Wirerat posted (#379). That is a simple mod that seems to work for everyone on any Ram.

After you have connected to the Body Module follow these steps:
Select Hood Open icon> Select Procedure to Start> Car Configuration Change> Select option> CBC...

It is OK to leave the Bypass cable connected, and the MX+ if you like.

That reverse light circuit is closed until you go into reverse. How can there be a back feed? I've been wired like this since my 2020 was new. Same with my 2016 1500 ECo but used a separate switch (no Aux Switches)) and have had no problems.

I installed rear auxiliary lights exactly like Blacksheep wants. Instead of a separate wire and switch to power them I used an Aux Switch power lead.
There is no need to add relays, etc. for basic LED pods and there is no back feeding
At rear bumper I:
Spliced a 14ga red wire to Aux Switch #4...
IMO Ranch Hand and Rancher are the two top brands for design, mounting strength, beauty, and quality. I have a Ranch Hand on my 2016 1500 Eco and a Rancher on my 2020 3500 HO.
Where I typed Connect below you need to connect to the control unit. It looks like you missed doing that.
For example to keep fog lights on with high beams:
Car Model> Ram 1500> Function> Body Computer> Control Unit> My2016+ Powernet>Connect> Select Hood Open icon> Select procedure> Car...
I have tried Vairs that connect directly to the battery and they could only air up to 57 PSI. I then bought a Dewalt 20V Max Tire Inflator (DCC020IB). It's the best of the 6 or so devices I have owned. It's the first one to easily reach 80 PSI and the battery lasts for a long time.
