Using wheel spacers is perfectly acceptable and is no different than using an aftermarket wheel with a different offset/backspacing.

I use a hypertech programmer. All it can do right now is recalibrate for tire size.

And just when I thought GM couldn't make their wheel well arches any uglier...BAM! Now not only are they still square, they are double square.
