    Pulsar

Is any pulsar user able to say if a higher octane fuel is required in the more powerful settings? I would expect that to take advantage of any advanced timing it would need 93 octane but cant find any info on this

Cheap intake upgrade o my Limited really made a difference.

This thread is the gift that keeps on giving. Now that pantyhose has been brought in as a serious mod that can be felt seat of the pants, this is a bonafide party.

If it doesn't get locked this could very well be this site's legacy thread. Someone taught me a long time ago that if you try and reason with some people, all they do is bring you down to their level. The fire is now stoked, it's up to someone else to throw another log on. I have heard rumors...

I’m going nuts with 3.21s and 35” tires

I have a Hypertech that already does that. Having said that I got in the Pulsar group buy and it should be here next week. Still doesn't give me the ability to reprogram shift points/rpm though.

I never called you a dummy. But the more you argue this the more apparent it is that you are ignorant as to the effect an air filter will have. Not to mention less resistance in the gas pedal is absurd as it is fly by wire. These claims are such delusions of grandeur that this has to be...

None of what was written is possible with a simple air filter change, not to mention spectre is a really crappy brand and he’s undoubtedly reduced actual filtering efficiency. I was glad to see no one responded and the thread die, unfortunately only to be recently resurrected again. This post...

I’m going nuts with 3.21s and 35” tires

To my knowledge that capabity doesn’t exist yet.

I’m going nuts with 3.21s and 35” tires

It was livable with the 34s and a/t tread. The 35s with m/t tread and wider width have taken some enjoyment away from my truck. I’ll figure something just not sure yet. I really just need a way to permanently lock out 8th gear really. I dont have a power complaint.

    I find this post confusing.

I’m going nuts with 3.21s and 35” tires

I knew when I installed the 35s I would lose some cruise rpm and effective gearing but I really did not expect the truck to be hunting between 7-8th gears on flat ground. This is killing me. I am aware I can just get some shorter tires but the current stance I have is important to me. I asked...

    3.5" readylift questions

Yes my truck on 35s fits in the 7’ opening with several inches to spare.

    Anyone installed a CB yet?

I think I'm going to, just looking for mounting locations in the 19s. I have a bench seat, so in the console isn't an option for me.

Ready Lift Control Arm Maintenance.. If Any

That is one of the many negatives of those bushings. They are cheap and easy to replace but they do wear quickly and deform, and can squeak depending on environment. They have a use for applications that want better handling and ease of fabrication but i cant understand why they didnt use a...

Do I buy one? What would you do different?

I have nothing bad to say about my truck and I love it. Having said that, I wish I would have bought a 17 or 18 model that are plentiful on dealer lots at crazy deep discounts and rebates. It would have been a much better financial decision.

Flowmaster Cat-back review....Sounds incredible, fit and customer service not so much

It was the american thunder cat back. That flowfx pictured above sounds like poop to me and is nothing like a chambered flowmaster. Two totally different sounds.

Ready Lift Control Arm Maintenance.. If Any

What about the poly control arm bushings? In my experience those type of bushings dont last nearly as long as a factory high durometer bushing. I was a bit disappointed to see those. I know the upper arm doesnt carry a huge load but still.... Id feel a bit better if they were at least greasable...

    3.5" readylift questions

Since the rear uses a spring spacer and doesn't move the shock location down like the front, I feel the rear shock is now too short for anything other than pavement. A shock extender bracket would be the perfect fix for this, any chance Readylift will make one?
