Did you have the camera hole, or did you purchase the new bezel? If ya got the new bezel - couple questions, can ya still replace that bezel without removing the whole grill? Also, any trick to getting the chrome RAM letters off and onto the new bezel?
Was wondering another thing - being an engineer I would envision that RAM only powers up that front camera when called up - if so, than ya would think there’s a 12v power pin somewhere. Anyone know if this true or not? I.e. how does the factory front camera get powered?
Anyone know exactly which pins are for the 2020 Limited with the 12" display? Also, anyone mount on the front other than below the A in the grill? i.e. didn't know if there was an easier place to mount.
Following up on the power question - is the camera powered on full time via a switched ignition circuit? Suppose could put a power switch under the dash some where. Also, what video cable is recommended?
Guys, need clarification, I have a 2020 Limited without the Surround View option - cause I got the towing option. Any case, my chrome grill does not have the camera hole. Seems that getting the 68341467ac new RAM piece is not enough - looks like the horizontal grill bar below the camera...
Rcimucah, I have same exact truck (2020 1500 limited with tow mirrors) and want to exactly the same. I sent FCA a complaint like six months ago, telling them owners with tow mirrors actually need the surround view feature MORE than anyone else. Now, 2021 model year, if you got same options...
Has anyone heard if FCA will be putting together an option package for 19/20 Ram 1500’s? I.e. now that these are included with the 21’s with tow mirrors.
Changed my oil on my 1500 Ram limited hemi at 1100 miles - firm believer to get that break in oil out ASAP. I went with conventional Valvoline. Heard ticking issues if going to full synthetic. I routinely change oil in all my vehicles at 5k intervals. Was 3k for years and years, but went to...

Both good and bad experiences
Good, quickly diagnosed my mirror noise and drivers side crew cab window scratches. Following visit, replaced the drivers side mirror, very top rate service, noise gone.
Bad, third visit was to replace the drivers side crew cab...
I’m in the same boat, just got a 2020 limited with the trailer option. Didn’t find out till next day after bringing new truck home that for a $400 option they remove three cameras. Just saw a 2500 today with the same trailer mirrors, BUT it has the cameras on the fixed portion of the mirror...
Just got a 2020 Limited 1500, drivers side view mirror (towing mirrors) has this wind whistle when above 45 mph. If I hold my finger on the mirror casing or mirror itself, whistle stops. What ya think? Dealer need to replace that mirror? Passenger mirror does not do it.
