No issues, Moosem was a fluke due to bad part. Yes i used the adapter as you have no other choice.
The LED doesn't act as a DRL, they are always on regardless. They are pretty dull however in full sun.

I think mine took like an hour 20. That fender bolt was tedious, and getting the fascia piece to release on both sides knowing exactly how to do it was still tough.
Tails are awesome since they take 30 seconds per side. That said, I was set leaving the tails stock because honestly they look fine. The headlights however are hideous.
I got the Gator SRX cover, which in every respect looks identical to this cover. It actually shipped direct to me from Truxedo and only cost $219. Even the logo is in the same spot. So far it has been water tight and easy to use.
1: you won't get anything for the halogens, so you're better off holding them for when you eventually sell the truck, you can revert back and sell the LEDs.
2: Moosem is right, every used light is broken in some way on ebay, and the sellers are on crack. I made an offer on a broken tab...
