Just to give an update here (it has been a while) with the short version of the long story. I had an alignment done and all is well with that, only minor adjustments needed. One of the rear wheels/tires took an extremely high amount of weight to get it to balance so I / we (installer) thought...
I am set to have the alignment done and tire balance checked on Tuesday. I am not going where I got the tires mounted/balanced but to a shop where I know they will do a good job .... they have a reputation at being the "best in the area" for this type of thing!!
I removed the spacers and ran it without them. It made no difference, the vibration was still there. The wheels are stock 18s. I got the spacers because I wanted a wider track / stance.
Hi All, I apologize now as this may be a bit long. Just a few days ago I had Bilstein 5100 shocks installed to replace my stock squishy shocks and use to almost level the front end. At the same time I swapped out the stock tires for General Grabber ATx (275/70R18) tires and added Bora wheel...
I am still leaning towards blackwall but I am kinda liking the white outline letters. Unfortunately, mine will be solid white and I still remember the pain it was to keep those clean on my BFG KO2s clean. Because, again, if they are not completely clean they look like crap. Thanks all, I will...
Hi All,
Below is a current side view of my Ram. In the next week or so I will be adding a leveling kit, wheel spacers and General Grabber ATx (275/75/R18) tires. My question is should I go blackwall side out or show the white lettering??? I am leaning towards blackwall but I have seen...
I am located outside of Albany, NY and get a wide range of conditions here. Not as much deep snow as moderate snow with a lot of sleet/freezing rain/ice. This is my first Ram but not my first truck and I have always run BFG AT KO2s and loved them in all conditions!! I did have a set of...
I am in the same dilemma (probably not 35s, though)! I have been a die hard BF Goodrich AT KO2 user on my last 2-3 vehicles. Now, however I am leaning towards the Grabber A/TX. I like the KO2s but I know too many people who swear by the Grabbers so I am going to give them a try! Still...
Here you go, nothing fancy:
Still has stock tires on now. Wheel spacers ordered, Bilstein 5100 leveling struts and new tires in the works. Still trying to decide what brand/model and size tire I want to go with after the leveling.
I did two or three tanks of 87 before I noticed that the manual said 89 was recommended. I usually fuel at BJ's Wholesale Club where I get a discount. There they only have 87 or 93. The 93 there is $.40/gallon more than the 87 but using that is still cheaper than buying 89 at any other gas...
So, I am sorry .... I have been reading too many threads on this!! I have a non-rebel Ram and want to add the 5100s just to level or come close to level. Is it the 4th or 5th setting that will get you to within 1/2" of level?
