I am in the Seattle area and geting close to ordering a truck (once I decide between a Laramie and Rebel), can you talk a little more about your experience with Bud Clary in Auburn? It sure would be great to get a good deal and good service from a local dealer but in the end I am prepared to...
is the Laramie and Rebel the same level of leather/synthetic mix? Same quality? I know the Laramie is ventalated but just trying to decide between a Laramie and Rebel.
Well this is a timely post for me. I was just getting ready to email a Canadian dealer to see if they would be willing to build and order a truck for me and then I could import it. But if they wont warrant the truck there is no point.
Sorry, where on the build list does it list the ventilated seats for a Laramie? I keep building different trucks and I dont see it spelled out. I am sure it is right in front of my face.
I have been trying to figure how discounts work when order from dealers. I received some mixed messages from my dealer, as I am not ready to push the button yet I have not pushed him to clarify. Are you saying if there were say a $5K national rebate from RAM Corp (non dealer discount) at the...
Appreciate the feedback, good to know. I think you mentioned that in one of your videos. Looking at where you have taken your rig does make me feel more comfortable.
My biggest concerns are long term reliability. I want a diesel for an off road platform so I love the idea of the ecodiesel, but the gen 3 isnt a proven platform yet. I have heard comments like "my dealer told me to treat it with kid gloves". That doesnt lend someone to trust it as a platform...
I am not say the math ever really works out going diesel, but I just checked the other day and near me diesel was .20 cents less that unleaded. My current vehcile takes premium so for me if I went with a diesel, at todays prices, it is a .50 cent a gallon swing for me.
Did you notice a big difference in seats from a laramie to a limited? This weekend my wife and I looked at and drove three 1500's; a limited, a rebel and a laramie. All were the highest interior trim level. To be honest we couldnt tell a real difference in seats. My wife thought the laramie...
So you are truly off roading your ecodiesel. What are your thoughts? How is it holding up after taking some abuse? Do you feel it is robust? I want to pull the trigger on an ecodiesel for an off-road platform just mentally working through the fear/hesitation. Thanks
You bring up so many items I have been wondering about and pointing me to any links with more details would helpful:
Different transfer cases between models? I have wondered if there were any difference in the base platform besides wheels, tires, shocks and springs on the different trim...
