So this will be my first Diesel. I have a little experience with them in the Marines (Tanks, AAV, HUMVEE) but no personal vehicle experience. I have always wanted one, and this purchase is definitely a want not a need. This will be a daily driver, but since Covid we have both become virtual...
I just got a text back from Aydin and Phillip and they confirmed D1 status and added ETA ship date of June 7th. Sounds pretty sporty but I will keep my fingers crossed he is right.
I went ahead and pinged RAM chat and got the same thing:
Thank you so much for holding. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process soon. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided.
I asked if that was...
Wow love to know any insight how your dealer was able to apply the $1000 rebate. I have one that expires June 30 and I dont think the truck will be here by then. My dealer doesnt think he will be able to apply it. Big Congrats by the way!!!!
Same here, I couldnt get a clear view of what the color really looked like and if I could live with it long term. I dont love the granite but I can live with it.
I ordered on 4/29, I I then read about the one key fob topic. I emailed Phillip on 5/3 and he and Aydin both came back right away and told me this is BS and my truck would come with two key fobs. I hope they are right.
I ordered from Phillip on 4/29 and reached out to him after seeing this topic on key fobs and 2022 builds in earlier post. He told me I have a confirmed order for a 2021 that comes with 2 key Fobs. Having said all that I wouldnt mind if they bumped me to a 2022, I have waited this long.
I am very interested in this post and appreciate your prelimenary work on this. I have been interested in building a car kit for a while. What size drive are you thinking of; 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2? Sorry I am not the most mechanically inclined.
