The fuse should blow when it’s amperage is exceeded.

I use an electric. Is yours adjustable? May just need more air in the mix. and 1 to 9 seems heavy. I don’t use much.

How much did you water it down? Normal car wash soap works fine in mine.

I tried from underneath, it’s helps a lot to pull the front liners from the wheel wells. Regardless those bolt retaining washers are a PITA. I used a 15” adjustable wrench with a dead blow to yank them out.
