Thanks for doing this. I wasn't motivated enough to drill the plastic and $90+ for the bolts/studs was more than I wanted to spend for something I'll use a couple times...maybe....
Looks like the bracket is really a damper to squelch the harmonic/vibration on the caliper. Mine started doing this (less than 1000 miles on a new 2020)
wtf @RamCares? Where's the QC on these trucks?
I have the ramboxes and MFT and bought a used divider. It's sitting in my shop. I'll go out and see if it looks like the plugs are there to install the hardware for the extender use.
It's a bummer for sure.
This is my first ever Chrysler. They've been on my "do not buy" list for 30 years. I'm holding my breath every time I drive it. Maybe I'll get lucky.
Hope they get you sorted. My 2017 Honda was in the shop 11 times in 2.5 years including water leaks that took them...
Headliner can't be replaced without removing the windshield or rear window.
There appears to be no quality control on these trucks. Rams have had leak issues for a decade or more. That's just lazy.
Thanks. I didn't expect anything more than 15-17 winter and maybe 19-ish summer, honestly. Once I dump the oil and replace with full synthetic it should help a little. Getting broken in some usually doesn't hurt, either.
Use google and some simple search arguments
"2019 2020 ram 1500 mpg site:www.5thgenrams.com"
Or just look at the Fuelly website numbers. They're very accurate and won't allow for people lying about MPG.
Upstate NY, 3.21 rear and I'm averaging 14.2 with plenty of highway. I'm driving it like an old lady, too. Not happy at all, but it's cold, truck has 980 miles so it *should* improve a bit.
The fuelly numbers are accurate and a good statistical representation of what you can expect.
FCA lied...
BUG comes with the divider, but all the newer trucks do not have the mounting hardware on the bed to use the divider as an extender. Ram figured out that it partially covers the rear lights so they removed those parts. Cost you around $100 to order them if they'll sell them to you.
also in NYS...truck built in october...rambox lids are warped. It's not only due to heat. More likely the fact the latch is in the middle and pulls the center allowing the ends to warp up a bit.
I was just looking in the google play store at the uConnect app and noticed the images on the store show an "Info" tab at the bottom of the app which shows fuel level, tire pressures, etc. I don't have that tab or button in my app for my truck. Anyone have the "info" button?
