Personally, I'd only put down the tax and a payment, but as long as you understand leasing you should be OK.
The issues with these trucks is a whole 'nother thing to think about.
Don't be fooled. Truck prices are artificially engorged to take advantage of the demand. While car prices have risen 28% in the last 10 years, truck prices have risen over 61%. Like most things in the world, when it comes to money or taking more of yours, it's all smoke and mirrors.
I'll assume you're trading the Jeep and using the equity to buy down the lease payment? Leasing 101 says you *never* put any cash into a lease. Buying down the payment is giving them your cash to pay out each month. Instead, make them write you a check for the jeep, put it in an account and...
Download the My Ram app to your phone. If you're lucky, it'll provide you access to the manual via the app. Unfortunately for me, even after numerous calls to the dealer and @RamCares I received only finger pointing advice (it's the dealers fault, it's Ram's fault) and my app thinks I have a...
phone cameras don't record sounds like these accurately. A collapsed lifter can sound like a lower end knock. The fact it went away after driving tells me it's a lifter that managed to pump back up and that it's going to do it again.
Another bit of proof that quality control at FCA is absent. Lifter noises have plagued this engine series for over a decade. Add this to leaking roofs, etc. and you have to wonder if they actually have engineers designing these trucks or maybe high school students.
I only ever used it on the Honda when I'd had a few IPAs too many. It was annoying the rest of the time. It'll stay off on this truck also. Not ready for prime time fo sho.
Mine just pops it a bit. Might be the tonneau cover holding it...dunno. I've only used the remote open a couple times to show people. I can't think of why I'd ever use it in real life.
Right, and I don't think anyone has suggested otherwise. Just a point on how other manufacturer's systems work so much better than FCA. I really don't see how it's at all helpful, at least on my truck. It allows the truck to enter the other lanes well beyond what would be effective at...
It's interesting that some think the lane departure system works great and others not so much. My Honda was like auto-drive. Worked flawlessly. This Ram acts there is a drunk 18 yr old driving it when I turn that system on. No matter what the sensitivity, it's terrible. Might be my...
I'd love it to be something so simple, but seem unlikely the doors were leaking. The vents to atmosphere are plenty big enough to allow the CFM inbound from the HVAC system to be pushed out. Try to bubble test yourself. I had a 17 Honda Ridgeline that leaked water on the rear seats from day...
