I too had the opposite experience with TRS.
I did a hid conversion in my tundra and had an issue with a faulty ballast. The were polite, courteous, and handled my issues quickly.
Sorry for your poor experience. Hope they make things right for you.
I haven't had the issue occur again, but with fall coming, I am sure I would be able to replicate the issue.

Is there any difference in ethanol? Living in the midwest, regular is ethanol. Mid grade and up is often ethanol free.
I've always found ethanol free fuel to give slightly better mpg than ethanol.
I'm really surprised that these or user programmable options. I'm sure finding the wiring diagram would allow you to switch them. But I would think it would be easier to tell the "smart" radio to swap the controls..

I noticed that when using android auto, I have had a hard time with command recognition and voice to text.
I have come to the conclusion that Android auto is using the phones mic and not the truck mic.
Is this normal?
Is there a setting to use the truck mic?
Because the phone holder doesn't...
Long story short... Take your trucks to the dealership. Rinse and repeat until the problem is fix.
Quit McGyver'ing your truck and make FCA fix it like it should be for a new 40-60k truck.
