I don't know if this is still true or not, but at least at some point I know that the dealer had to specify that the order they were building was a "sold" order, instead of an inventory order, to be able to get the full availability of the options with no extra restrictions. If a dealer is...
I've tried all sorts of different pedal pressures and I can't get it to clank or not clank consistently. I'm suspicious it has to do with drivetrain slack as mentioned above, but not in the tcase, but either in the rear end flange, or the driveshaft spline(s) for the slip yoke.
I'm gonna add...
Do you know what your tongue weight is on the trailer? From what you're describing, I'm actually thinking you don't have enough weight on the truck. Or that when the air ride self level's the rear end, it's putting your trailer in a nose up position. Lowering the hitch height would help. And, if...
You talking spring spacer or wheel spacers here?
Either way, neither will add to your ability, and at best, they just won't retract from it. I'd highly advise against not towing with wheel spacers at all, the engineer in me just gets the heebie jeebies from the thought of it, although I'm sure...
What are your truck spec's now? (Your payload, rear end, cab, and drive system?)
1020 lbs tongue weight is not-not doable, but it's getting to the limit of what the DT Ram (and any half ton) can handle. If your truck is spec'd correctly, you should be good, with proper setup. Follow the...
I personally don't have this problem, but I would have your dealer check your transmission fluid level. I asked them to check mine at 10,000 miles and I was "1 quart" low according to them. I was suspicious I was low due to the hesitation during the startup at a stop / start event at a light.
You came from a heavy, stiffly sprung 3/4 ton truck, to a light, squishy (especially by comparison), air ride half-ton. There's going to be some difference. The DT Rams tow great, for a half ton, and the ride is amazing loaded or unloaded. But, in my experience, coming from a Tundra (also on the...
Without a scale, it's all an estimate. If you know what your trailer weighs empty, and it's tongue weight, you can estimate what the tongue weight would be with the trailer loaded (evenly). However, if you really want to know, you have to weigh the truck and trailer.
Hey man, where can I find more info on that program? My father is buying a ram without steps and we were looking at adding them after the deal. He has multiple back issues, and has had neck surgery to fuse a few vertebrae. $750 towards steps would help a ton obviously. Thanks a ton, and good...
This.
ParkSense is the rear sonar (front too, if equipped).
ParkView is the rear view camera.
Either way, to the OP, your truck has no audio warnings integrated into the reverse camera system. The camera is meant to be a supplement, and is not considered a precise tool at all. If you are using...
The other requirements for aero mode are that you must be traveling between 62 and 66 mph for longer than two minutes straight, or that you must be going more than 66 mph. Looks like you're in need of a visit. For the record, mine is an August 18 build (that I bought in August), so idk where it...
You're right, I should have re-phrased, it's not that there isn't any hard working people here, it's just that in contrast to how life seems to operate up north, things are just a little more lax down here. I personally don't have any qualms with any dealers here (yet), as I haven't visited any...
