It's either that or the quad cab trucks get different mirrors. I can't decipher the build codes from the website I used to look up the parts, it's pretty confusing the way they list things for all trims even when it makes you go through and select your exact truck.
I believe the difference is for truck with and without auto high beams. There are four mirrors available, three different part numbers with auto dimming, and one with the old school manual dimmer. One of the auto dimming numbers supersedes the other, so really you have manual dimming, auto...
Let us know what you find. I've seen issues (across any brand) that pop up when you run over something on the road and it breaks or pinches a wheel speed sensor line, and causes the VSC, ABS, and 4WD systems to turn themselves off because they can't read the speed data.
Do you have "Allow carplay when locked" set on your phone? Also, there is a setting to turn on and off 'screen mirror" or something similar in the truck that essentially allows the truck to communicate with the desired device automatically or only when prompted. Can you go into the UConnect...
I never switched my reg when I moved, and I came back up to visit family for a few weeks and it looks like I'm going to stay now, regardless of the accident. So it kind of worked out in that way. Good news is that the truck is a lease, so if I get boned on diminished value, I can still just give...
There are so many spring part numbers it's not even funny. Best way to get the part numbers is call the dealer, because they'll be able to decipher the option codes that affect the spring types.
The adjuster called me yesterday and said he had ~$9,500 worth of parts, and that's before they cut the rear door open, as they can't get either door to budge. I forgot to mention all OEM parts to him, so I have to call on Monday and see what he spec'd out. He guessed it could go much higher...
Cell coverage and GPS signal are two different things. Also, were you able to run the Nav with CarPlay on the same screen? It shouldn't let you, and will force you to use the full screen Nav and switch back and forth.
I looked up the laws in Mass (where my truck is insured) and CT (where the accident happened / where her insurance is) and both states have diminished value laws that allow for compensation due to accident damage that affects the resale value of a vehicle.
Mass is a TLF (Total Loss Formula)...
Took me a while to get used to "waiting" for them on my Laramie 1500, I actually disabled them for a few weeks when I first had the truck. But I got used to them, and honestly I don't keep them for me, they're for when my family get's in and out of the truck anyway.
At 6'4", I don't need the...
She goes into the shop tomorrow morning, and the adjuster is meeting me there wednesday to look at the truck.
What's the consensus on the damage total? If it's not totaled, I'm suspecting well into the teens with the repair bill, no?
Are you trying to go 3-3.5 over what you have now, or over a non-orp truck?
Either way, there's only so much travel to the stock suspension components, and Mopar themselves sells new UCA's as part of their 2" kit for non-orp trucks. I'd imagine you'd end up collapsing the strut and possibly...
Just clip it back up, or bring it into the dealer. I found the pass seat in my laramie like this after a dealer did the air bag module recall. You have to fold the clip backwards so it faces up, and then just simply push it up back onto the metal rail. It will clip in.
When playing music with Apple Music through CarPlay, your phone needs to be plugged into the truck via a usb cable. Then, on the media screen, you can select CarPlay as the source, or, you can select (and open) CarPlay with the shortcut button at the bottom of the screen where the Phone shortcut...
Trucks with coils use different springs that are longer, trucks with air ride are just programmed to sit higher at Normal ride height, and they lose one Off Road height setting in the process.
Welcome to the forums!
It's in your owner's manual, as well as multiple places on the forum.
You probably accidentally selected Aero mode when you got into the truck one time, I tend to hit the air ride switch when putting my phone in the holder in the console. You can turn off the Auto Aero...
