Gdubs, if you like the truck and when the engine gets replaced, if it’s still to your liking, you’re good to keep it. It’s your call.
I had a brand new pickup years ago that had a bad cylinder from new. When that was finally diagnosed as needing a total engine replacement, I asked if it would be...
Geez, seriously. Now they don’t include the lock cylinder! I have had many trucks with the Rambox option, my newest a 2022 1500. Now I will say I never lock it. But I have a ReTrax rolling cover. If I didn’t have a cover though, I would lock it to keep prying fingers from stealing it.
If you are still under warranty, get the dealership involved. I think you’ll need a new radio. 2018 Jeep GC Summit, radio lost satellites on navigation. Dealership tried to “update” the radio. NG Radio replaced under warranty. 2023 HellCat, (when new) navigation was showing 800 miles off. Radio...
When I installed the Amp boards on my ‘18 2500, the passenger side bound up at the pinch weld. I loosened the bolts and then stepped on the boards as per the instructions. Tightened up the bolts, worked perfect afterwards. My factory boards have more space showing at the rear end of the boards...
Nice observation. I hope this platform works out for Ram. First time in years something to look forward to. Past few years have been just cookie cutter years. No new colors, especially in the upper trim levels. Tungsten 1500 had me interested till I saw you automatically got that big ***...
I gave it a try last year. Same trip everyday. 104 miles round trip. 40% 2-lane with 60% highway. I was able to get 1 mpg to 1 1/2 mpg improvement. Didn’t really notice any performance change.
Problem was the price difference did not make it any cheaper. So I just went back to 87.
I do buy the...
If I remember right I think my mounting hole was rectangular. The Auveco # crosses over to the Chrysler part number. OP, if your hole is square these will pop right in. No tweaking necessary, but in my case, I had to bend them. Is your hole square?
Yea kinda sucks you can’t get the right ones, I mean obviously someone manufactures them. You get like 20 or 25 clips, just tweak them enough to stay in place. If you break one no biggie. You have backup!!!
Gskowronek, man I wish I had a good answer for as I needed them too when I bought a used set up. I ended up using a similar fastener as the picture shows. I bought a box of Auveco 22909 from Amazon. Problem was they are not quite big enough for my 2022. I was able to bend them some to make them...
My ‘22 Longhorn does the 3 honk deal. I believe that was the first year of it. No where in Uconnect to toggle off.
One thing you can do is hold the key fob against the rear door glass while closing the driver’s door. No honk then.
I also saw a uTube video of how to disable it with AlfaOBD. It...
The Auto Start/Stop story is a new one. Actually it would make some people glad it didn’t work. I know my wife always turns it off as soon as she starts the vehicle. Actually had an eliminator on our ‘18 JGC Summit. Just traded for a ‘25 JGC Summit but there is no way to have this over ridden so...
