4wd auto works perfectly fine for me, had it on my previous Silverado and now on the ram, no need for ASD. I do have the off-road package and considering I am in Minnesota, I will gladly take the elocker over ASD. As I said before, 4wd auto I have used when it's snowing and haven't had one...
I would say go to the dealership and test drive a ram truck and if you like it, then you have your answer. It's clear that you are curious, so just test drive them and see how you like it. Hell do what I did and test drive them at different dealerships, that's what I did.
I live in Minnesota and we get really cold weather here, as cold as -40 it can get sometimes and in the summer it can get up to 100 degrees with humidity.
Are there any good Tonneau cover recommendations. Ones that don't crack, leak, or get worn out fast?
Laramie vs rebel I could tell the difference between the air suspension of the rebel and coils from the Laramie. Rebel is definitely stiffer but still provides a quiet ride.
Had the dealer look at the top glove box and it being crooked. He looked and checked other trucks. No argument and said we will have to take apart the entire glove box and put in a new center piece or replace just the glovebox. Made an appointment on the 9th. The service manager came out...
If you are going to buy, I would almost say to stay away from online vehicle issues altogether and stick with positive posts until you hit a snag. Seriously, I could go into Ford, Chevy, etc etc and I would seriously be afraid of purchase those vehicles because of what I read.
10 people can...
So far everything seems to be running fine. There are minor imperfections that I have noticed, such as the top glove box seems to have more light bleeding out from the top right side and thins out towards the left side. The bottom of the top glove box has a bigger gap on the left side while...
I think the etorque is a great start for RAM, they can keep tweaking both the tried and true hemi and the hemi with etorque. Just keep on refining these engines as they get better and better.
As for turbo, when those suckers go out they are expensive as heck.
You engage the elocker when you are not moving vs asd where the wheels have to actually spin before a lock takes place, in fact in some cases I would believe that asd could potentially get you in more of a bind vs the elocker since the tires have to spin before it engages, I think.
On snowy...
You should be able to tow boats and campers with 3.21 perfectly fine. The difference will be when towing those much heavier campers, not so much boats, but heavier campers and farm trailers, but at that point I guess you may as well get a bigger truck.
I tell ya, after this being my first RAM, I am enjoying how nice this is to drive. I do have to say though that regardless on research and how an engine breaks in, I always drive a new vehicle like an old man for the first 5k miles, but honestly I never really kick it down unless I really...
Hey guys and gals, I am new here, but I just picked up a 2019 RAM Laramie with the chrome and off-road package on Saturday the 22nd here in Minnesota. Got the truck at the price of $41,500 with 15 miles on it. Traded in my 2015 Silverado Z71 and couldn't be happier. Currently have about 430...
