Yea that I’m not sure on. There might be something different since you have to repin some wires at the BCM. With the other OEM kit.

Ok i have read this thread more than once and found part #’s. Supposedly all the info needed to do this swap is in this thread. My take is that I have a 2021 with the 12.1 uconnect 4 (1500 not HD). and to do this upgrade I would have to get a 12.1 screen from a 2022 or newer and a radio...

you know most of the special edition TRX's that were not two tone I didn't like as much. However I'm really liking it with the color on the lunar Edition.

I installed mine today also. What was weird on my truck is that the pin 6 setting in alfaobd on my truck was already set to yes.

This is probably a moot point now because the truck you are getting probably has the bed step. However if it doesn’t have the bed step the one on your Laramie will not work. There is a specific one for the trx.

I just ordered the parts for this yesterday. So glad i found this thread because i was going to buy the kit and route the wire up to the bcm. Got an email from Bam that the left jumper 68488851AB is going to take longer because it is a special order from the manufacturer.

yea, i figured that might be a deal breaker for most. Whole reason it's available is because I replaced it with a heated version(now I just need to get the heated part working)

hey if anybody wants to dive into this I have a TRX steering wheel available. Would be easier than sourcing all the parts. It's non heated though.
