Get a cheap microfiber cloth. I keep one in my truck and just wipe things down every now and then. Takes the fingerprints off with ease. It is bigger than an eyeglass cloth so I think it works better but an eyeglass cloth would work fine also I suppose.
That's pretty weak that Hardon Kardon is putting their name on paper cone speakers. Anyone out there upgrade these 6x9s in their Hardon Kardon setup? If so, how does the sound match up to the other speakers? I would think one would want to replace all of them to match, eeek.
They sent me the $5 for 12 months in the mail. Then I went to their website and it showed $5 for 6 months. Then i went to the siriusxm/bestoffers website and it showed $5 for 12 months. Then I logged into siriusxm.com and a banner across screen showed $5 for 12 months plus free echo dot. So I...
I just renewed the "select" edition which seems to have everything except for NFL and Nascar. It has ability for in car and on phone/internet also. $60 ($5 per month) for 12 months plus free Amazon Echo Dot. Figured I might as well renew since it works very well with the Uconnect.
Any of the recalls (airbag) will have been applied to the new ones already which is good. Not sure if the TSBs automatically are applied on the new builds but I would assume so.
Narrower should perform slightly better in deep snow as it can cut through it easier. Wider would give you more grip on regular pavement I would assume but not like we are racing these things. I think it is hard to prevent slight rubbing on standard suspension with anything more than a 12"...
There are a lot of options out there and one is not necessarily better than another. Depends what your preferences are, cost, roll up vs. fold, paint match etc. I personally have been very happy with my Lomax but there are lots of great covers.
It is my understanding that the non-NAV units will not receive updates. This is one of the main reasons I opted for the NAV unit although I have not seen any updates to mine!
Something like this might help you out https://www.walmart.com/ip/Car-Trunk-Organizer-Cargo-Organizer-Folding-Caddy-Storage-Collapse-Bag-Bin-for-Car-Truck-SUV-3-Section-Collapsible-Storage-Box/546021196
I personally fold one side of the backseat up and can usually fit one or two bags within the...
Yes, go into the audio settings and under the balance fader you can play with the positioning of the sound to check the speakers. Move the dot left right up down and the sound should follow and you can isolate the speaker. Also some of the speakers are "2 or 3 way" meaning one speaker might...
Those are small 5" door subs. Although it would sound good, nice and tight, it would not be a viable replacement of the 10" sub behind the seat. The 10" sub that is already there would still be pounding away and new door subs would not really mask that or be a replacement that provides very hard...
Congrats! You got a great truck and you know the history on it and that it was not beat up by previous owner. You may grow to love the long bed. I had a 8ft. bed previously and it came in handy many many times whether it was moving mattresses, appliances, etc. or just hanging out in the back and...
Nice job on that bike rack. Can you share some details on how you made it? What did you use for the cross bar and how did you secure it to the side rails? Thanks!
Pretty sweet. At least it includes the subwoofers for that price although it should also include the amp. Dang thats a lot of money for a couple subs. I remember back in the day I bought 2 - 12" rockford subs in a box off my friend for $80 and added a 1000 watt amp for ~$280. Dang that thing...
