I did buy this directly from RC. I will contact them. I am also thinking of simply avoiding the relay and connecting it to the spare AUX post in the engine fuse box. My thought is that if I did that then whenever the truck turns on, if the rocker switch is set to DRL then then it would turn on...

I am working on wiring my light bar that has DRL mode. Should I power the 3 way rocker switch to acc fuse or do a relay off of the marker lights? Any pros or cons to either method?

I have seen that video. I have a Laramie, are the side marker lights the same wire color (white and yellow) as the rebel? Anyone know how I can get a headlight wiring diagram to confirm? Also, I know nothing about relay switches, is there a particular one I need or are they all pretty similar?

I just finished installing behind the lower grill....I took the bumper off to get at it easier. I wouldn’t say it was the easiest ever but got it done in like 6 or 7 hours or so.

I just installed the RC20 hidden grill light yesterday. Removed the bumper and replaced the lower grill. Pain in the butt and also happy to get the bumper all back together. Now that the light is mounted, I still need to wire it. Ideally I will have the amber DRL feature of the light bar come on...

Maybe look into adding a Hellwig sway bar also to help with the rolling in the turns.

Dang that sucks. Your auto insurance should have windshield repair built into it, I would go that route. Find a windshield repair place with good yelp reviews if you don’t know of any. They can usually get OEM and a good shop will work with the dealer to calibrate everything if they can’t do it...

Not the same as the silicone one but I have a leather one like in the link below and love it. Had it for many months now and still looks brand new. Was tough to slide it on but once it is on the fit is perfect...

I like them! Maybe will look best if they are a bit more subtle on this gen. Like a darker grey on a charcoal truck.

Just installed the Hellwig. Middle holes. Seems to firm it up around corners a little bit.

Yes sir, the harness wasn’t directly over the main snap thingy but was close enough to effect it. I pulled it out of the way and over some other long vertical post thingy. Didn’t have enough slack to route the harness around everything but I rerouted it over top of long vertical post thingy and...

Thanks much for responding. Any tricks to removing the cover so I don’t break anything? Did you remove both the upper and lower bracket covers like Dusty outlined? Thanks!

I noticed today that the plastic housing behind the rear view mirror is not sitting flush against the windshield on the passenger side but it is flush on the drivers side. I took a couple pictures showing both driver side that’s flush and passenger side that is not flush to the windshield...

Go with the color your wife likes best. I have the Patriot Blue and like it a lot. It does show the yellow pollen that gets on it a lot but all the colors would probably do the same.

Seems like a decent price if it has all the options you want. Do it. You'll love it.
