If you are leasing, all this stuff is covered under the term of the lease so that at least minimizes cost for repair. I would not worry about any of the issues on here. I agree they are outliers. Get the darn thing if you like the truck.
The only thing I do not really like on these trucks are the black bumpers. Black bumpers are associated with the cheaper trucks like the tradesman. The Rebel has the black bumpers also but that looks a little better with the Rebel grill I guess.
People on here have some tricks for those but I think I just wired brushed it a little bit (was not perfect with it by any means) and then just wrenched it. I bet you could get by with sandpaper also.

The bfgs are great. Ive had two sets of them on previous trucks and will put them on this one when the falkens wear out. Road noise is not bad at all in my opinion.
I have had the drop in liners in the past and although they work well I see no point in not going the line x route. Go Line X, Much better than the drop in liners that you will never remove.
I am not going to be too much help with all your questions but I would look up your VIN number and see what the buildsheet says just to confirm again. Customer Service probably already did that. I think you can lookup your build sheet here, just insert your VIN at the end of this address...
