the 8.4 non-nav uconnect does not have that option. so when your apple carplay or usb ports for that matter don't work, it is the hub itself. It happened to me.

nope. They are defective and you will need a replacement, what part number you need is 68397098-AE that part replaces the defective one and will make your usb ports work every time and apple carplay and android auto

me too but I am afraid to take it to the dealer because it seems like they work on your vehicles with their feet :/ but I do live in Texas and the heat is horrible here the coolest it has gotten is 50 degrees out of the drivers vents and 48 degrees out of the passengers vents :/ anyone else??

The part is not actually a part it is the update number they use

that TSB Fixed it for me look ill tag the code they used to update and see if it matches what they did for your truck I am confident that it fixed it. I have not heard it since and it did it every time MDS was active.
