The wheel are 20x10 -19 offset and tires are 305/55 R20. No suspension yet and can’t clear the tires till I do. I’m going to get the ReadyLift SST 3.5 lift.
Yeah, I did that. Certainly makes a difference but I think just the air temp is so high that it is just taking forever for the AC to catch up, even with the hot air let out with windows down and shut back up.
Yeah, it fits well enough, but not perfect. The shade I have made to fit the 4th gen Rams, and in that application, it fit like a glove. It does get a little caught up on the sensors under the rearview, but that's about it. If you're in a pinch it will certainly work, but I'm sure Covercraft...
Quick update, I threw my UVS 100 shade up on the windshield earlier this morning, and when I got back in the truck to head to lunch the AC was nice and cold in about a minute , despite it being over 95 right now. That leads me to believe it just may be a black interior + very hot temps causing...
Interesting, thanks for the heads up on that, I’ll get it checked next week. I do remember the trucks I test drive blowing pretty cold now that I think about it, it was much cooler then though
I'm just going to have to use my sun shade until the heat chills out. We have had high 90's to 100* days the past week and are expecting + 100* temps for the next week or so.
I had tint put on a few days after I got the truck, so hopefully that is helping. The air blows hard, and it gets cool (eventually) but it will take around 10 minutes to start getting "cold" in the cabin to the point where I turn it off of max. I feel like it took just a minute or two of full...
It could be that Dallas is scorching hot right now but I find the AC in my Bighorn to be lacking in comparison to my 2011. I'm a pretty heat tolerant person too I might add. It's my biggest complaints of the truck right now.
Edit**
I did go from a mostly Tan interior to an all black interior...
See Grits, this is why we keep you around here. Good idea. I'll do it this weekend if I catch some free time. Weddings and barbeques are the limiting factor.
Does anyone happen to know the Hub Bore on the 2019? We know the bolt pattern matches the Chevy 6x139.7, but has anyone seen if the hub bore is the same as well at 78.1mm?
Looking to get some hub centric rings for my wheels in advance of their arrival.
I can't say for certain, but if I were a betting man I would say youre in the clear. Youll certainly be okay with the clearing the wheel wells. In gen 4 trucks it wasnt until you went past a 12 wide that you risked rubbing on the control arms, since youre a bit under that I would assume you will...
Thanks. I did a bunch of lflip flopping on what I wanted wheel wise for awhile but I'm glad I landed on the Hostile rather than the Fuels. It's a very clean design which I think will help accentuate the lines of the DT better. I ended up with the Nittos simply because they look like they will be...
Wheels and Tires ordered yesterday, now It's a waiting game for readylift to put the 3.5" SST in stock and I'll get this ram looking proper. I know in the past there were concerns of bad angles with the 3.5 (previously 4 inch) systems these companies were putting out but in the video readylift...
I have a Crewcab Bighorn 4x4 with 3.92 and about 900 miles, I'm seeing numbers between 16-16.5 with an equal mix of city and highway with a good amount of hills and such. Seems to be right around where everyone else is so I'm happy with it. But boy was the first 500 miles with 13-14 MPG...
