I used a box cutter to shimmy in behind the letter, then inserted a butter knife (or pry tool of your choice) and pried the letters off. they will break and pop off but your new ones will pop right in. You're going to have to be a little rough with it but it works, prying them off has been the...
Mine has started to clunk now that it's a little cooler outside ( contraction of metals), that said its only for maybe the first minute of driving in the morning then once the mount "loosens" up it goes away. Anyone else notice it being intermittent like this? It really doesn't bother me all...
Your bulbs are correct, You need to turn the bulb 90 degrees. the metal strips on the bulb need to contact the metal on socket. It will clamp on the bulb. Keep in mind the bulbs are polar sensitive as well so if it doesn’t work flip it around and it should work
No new vehicle launch is without some hiccups. The big 3 for the 2019 have been front end clunk (annoying but the truck is ostensibly fine), squealing brakes (seems to have been solved at the factory level with updated brake pads so it should only effect early builds (mine had it and new pads...
Gotcha. The under seat storage is a $95 option which can easily be added in by your dealer, as well as the Ram Bins in the floor. Just FYI. Keep looking around but don't count the truck out!
The carpet shouldn't be damp, obviously. There have been reports of incorrectly installed drains for the pano sunroof if that Rebel was equipped with it. As far as noisy lifters, that's just how the Hemi is. They are loud in general, especially on start up. I wouldn't worry about that at all.
Mine was obviously defective, as though there was a limiter that wasn't kicking in. It would hit the window and keep grinding until it found a spot it liked. Then it was a finger crossed affair to get them to fold back out. Since I had them replaced they have been flawless, but they do stop very...
I see them with some regularity in Dallas ( one every few days), but when I went down to Houston a few weeks for just a weekend I must have seen a dozen in that 3 day stretch.
I had the worst time doing this mod, ended up snapping the retaining clips on the whole overhead console, thankfully the whole assembly bolts in with two 8mm bolts so it’s staying up there fine. The bulbs were damn near impossible to pull out, this is one where the juice just isn’t worth the...
Mine does this from time to time on start up, also it may make a rattling sound instead. I’ve been guessing it’s the starter clutch like mentioned before. Keep us updated if you find out what it is, I haven’t been super concerned with it though.
I have a non etorque motor so no start stop...
My mirrors did the same thing where it would keep running after reaching the folded position. Dealer replaced both mirrors, don't let them tell you they can't get the parts because my dealer did.
