Was wondering if ou wrapped those vent tubes with stick on insulation they would blow cooler. The dash seems to retain a lot of residual heat and this would allow the cooler air to exit before it picks this residual heat up?

Some kind of vibration or sound deadener?

Right, if you shut all the warm water off you stand a chance of freezing the core and it will cause other issues. You need little flow through there token the ice off of it....JB.

The core icing up as a % of warm air from the heater core keeps the a/c core from freezing over. Sort of like the old fridge's building up ice inside.

I would be careful not to block all the hot flow off the core as this will cause the condenser to freeze over and cause other issues especially in humid climates. Good idea but don't close all the flow off.....JB.

Had that a month after I got my truck last Oct.. hasn't changed so I will wait til close to warranty ends to fix it..

So you want the mirrors to fold on shut down? Still have to fold them when you pull into the garage . Start it in the garage and if they open on start up you will have to fold them to back out and re-open them after you back out. To me they are fine the way they are. Would be nice to do ut with...
