Don't hammer it. Find someone with a press and put a straight piece of oak on the back side and press it out from the back.

Might have had the hood flex tsb done and after drying overnight, they forgot to pin it back.

Watch out for a wrecked one and buy the whole bed and swap them out. May be able to get the wrecking yard to you a credit for your bed in the purchase.

Update.... Battery was shorted out so bad, it would kick their charger out and couldn't get a reading. Service manager is a friend of mine and said they had a couple but not as bad as mine..seems to run better than before....Thanks for the input....JB.

Maybe the a/c compressor seizing put too heavy of a draw on a weak battery, it shorted one of the cells out and it's just now showing up...

My 2019Jeep GC does it automatically when you turn it off.
