I have the Falkens and they seem fine. I'm a General tire guy myself but Falkens as a whole seem well rated from what I remember while looking for tires.
I've been running 87 and will likely continue to do so. I try to grab gas from the cheapest nicer station. Usually a 76 by my place which doesnt have gas tax due to being on a reservation. I hadnt thought about the tanker being there but it makes sense I suppose.
I'd definitely try to find out what happened. Nothing on the back of the center console under the airvents? Can you throw up a picture? I'd be talking to the dealer for sure.
I have the Mopar slush mats. OEM carpet is nice and mine are black so I dont think theres a huge stain concern but the slush mats are nice and I do enough nasty stuff that they are easily worth the investment. I got mine from a dealer but on ebay for around $100 and some change but your dealer...
Are you talking about in the armrest or accessible from the center console? My Bighorn has a bunch of USB outlets for the back in the rear of the center console.
I've been disabling mine front and rear unless I'm getting into a tricky spot. Far easier to just flip it on case by case as my truck has brake checked me twice in reverse.
I'm not a factory nav guy but I generally run a seperate gps unit on long trips even when I know the route. Its been a while since I've shopped them so can you guys recommend a good gps unit? I'd like something that bluetooth syncs to uconnect if thats a thing? I could run my phone but I drive...
I tried the bench just stationary and its not bad. Not straight up and down but not too much lean. I'm 6'2 or so and felt like I was about to pop out of the sunroof but it wasnt uncomfortable. If I had to ride there it wouldnt end me, I think a kid would do fine and adult will likely be whinging...
We've been hit pretty good with smoke and ash here in the PNW and its been quite pleasant in my truck. I may need to peek at that filter when all this crap blows over though.
I believe the jump seat is straight up and down but I'll check. It wouldnt be bad for what its intended. I dont think I'd want to be there for a cross country trip but cross town it would do.
Please let us know what you come up with. I've had it kick in for no perceived reason twice while backing and it was bad enough that way. I can only imagine it locking up going straight ahead. Makes me think about disabling it until I get to a lot.
I was the same. I like the regular classier interior though certainly nothing against the rebel folks who like that. It's kind of like the limited longhorn fillagree, cool if your into that.
