I prefer the V8 and as mentioned it's the devil you know. There are plenty of Hemis with lots of trouble free miles.
Already hearing rumors of unhappy Jeep Hurricane owners.
I tried to avoid first year of anything major.
I should also say that after nearly destroying her Honda 3.5L based on their bad design, my wife keeps telling me to disable multi-displacement on all our vehicles.
I seem to be hearing more about lower oil pressure at idle keeping oil from the upper end. Thus many guys say to change oil often and don't idle extended periods, but still no definitive cause.
Unfortunately, I'm still running stock exhaust, so I just let it go into 4 banger mode.
The way things are going my local dealer will still have theirs.
BTW, I bought a new F150 years ago. It was missing the Sport decal on one side. Got the dealer to pull the one that was there.
Had a similar incident while packing our old 300 for a trip. Wife kept telling me the trunk won't close, but I go down to the garage and close it each time.
Got back without issue, and it started happening again. Finally realized she had the spare key in her bag in the trunk.
A few weeks...
Is there something special that requires paying someone $50 pull the plastic liner? I'd just yank it out and put it on Marketplace. Someone will probably want it.

My buddy's wife was coming up the same hill around the same time during the day, and clipped a vulture with her...
This thread reminds me of the old days...
"It's a car"
"It's a truck"
"It's a utility vehicle "
"It's a sport utility vehicle "
"It's a crossover"
"It's a crossover utility vehicle "
"Well, it doesn't matter what it is. It's ugly I ain't buying it"
We have a 21' with bunks, and we use ours as a glorified tent. Don't spend much time in it either.
I'm dumbfounded by the giant class A's with a retired couple and their poodle who head to the lake, but never leave the camper.
If we take the RTT when it's hot, we go to the lake. We took it to a campground this summer, and lugged up the portable A/C we had in our old popup. 😁
I don't know what they call them, but I want one of those tall teardrops. Where you can stand up inside, have a futon or bed and kitchen out...
Since I picked up a roof top tent the trailer has become our guest house and kids are going camper. However, we've camped a few times in the RTT with the kids.
I'm not sure I want to give up the trailer, but I could go for a smaller one, and ours isn't that big. I just don't like dragging...
