Now that I know that the left and right wiper arms are different, I went back to the dealer to have mine swapped.
I took the service advisor out and showed him that the wiper arms are different. There was another truck parked next to mine for comparison. Then I told him to look at the...
My passenger side wiper arm is the curved type. I wonder why they made two types. Perhaps they are just using the curved type now?
No word from the dealer yet...

Jim64,
Thanks for your reply. Here's a pic of my wiper arm. Definitely a difference! Yours has a curve that probably adds clearance. (Right where mine is hitting the hood!) I haven't shown the vid to the dealer yet. I made it after coming home from there.

Adding a short Youtube video. Funny thing is, they tightened the wiper arm nut (I think), but the wiper arm still hits the hood. In the video you can see the hood getting pushed up. Why is that? How close is the wiper arm to everyone elses hood?
ETA: I grabbed the wiper arm near the post...
Well, they just now told me they are sending the truck to the body shop down the street for an estimate to see if that would be cheaper than a replacement hood.

I didn't know the hood is aluminum. I doubt that any body filler would fall out. The gouge is small enough that the filler would have very little mass. In any case, I'm sitting in the dealership as I type. I'll let you know what they are going to do.

I don't know. At this point I'm not going to touch it before the dealer sees it, but the wiper never seemed loose. I think I'll get a new wiper arm. I'll see what they say about the hood. The gouge is in the bottom and not visible unless you look at the hood from the edge. I doubt they...
I got the recall notice for the wiper arm, so I went to the truck to look for the loose nut. I saw this mark on the wiper arm:
Uh Oh. That must be hitting the hood.
Underside of hood:
Sorry about the fuzzy pics, but you get the idea.

I knew going in that the nav maps were outdated and expensive to upgrade. I have been a Garmin user for years and right now there is a Garmin Nuvicam that stays plugged in full time in the truck. It comes with lifetime map updates that are updated three or four times a year. In addition...
I notice the same thing. My split screen is like yours, nav on top and media on the bottom. Sometimes I have to stab the touchscreen several times. I find myself paying too much attention to stabbing the screen in the right place, so I mostly use the steering wheel controls.
I thought there were only two mirror options, standard and towing. That being said, the power folding option might lie in the level one or two packages.

Also, Mt Evans is (or was) known to be the highest paved road in the US. Pikes Peak was gravel near the top, but I think they paved it to almost the very top?
I thought it was for crash scene investigation. RamGuy32 says its also on the pavement. Why put markers on the wheels instead of just using marking paint to mark the pavement? I'm not trying to be a wise guy, I'm just curious. Care to elaborate?
Thanks
Gerry
That's ugly. Sorry to see that. As bad as the front end impact looks, the passenger compartments look pretty much intact.
What's the orange markers on the wheels for?
