I’ll admit I haven’t spent a bunch of time in one, but I did sit in one for about 5 minutes at the LA auto show last year. When I adjusted the driver seat to where I like it and then got in the backseat my knees were definitely hitting the seat and kinda needed to be on the sides of the seat...
I gotta admit, I actually really like those new Canyons. I feel spoiled with how large the interior of the Ram is though lol even though I definitely don’t “need” a truck this big, I sure love it. Not to mention the 6’4 bed is also way bigger than I typically use, but there’s been plenty of...
It honestly depends how it was used. 170k driving or towing long distances is great; but if it idled a ton that’s not good. If it’s not deleted you might have to replace the def system or *try* to delete the truck in the somewhat near future. Typically these modern diesels with all the emissions...
Hmm I installed mine very sketchy with some ratchet straps on the coils so I didn’t have a chance to check that 😂 but I can tell you for sure with the weight of the truck on them they sit flat now 😂
Ahh okay so I’m guessing you ditched the bottom spacer and just ran the top spacer in conjunction with the Bilsteins?
If you don’t mind, what’s your measurements from the ground to the top of the wheel arch? I’m at 45.25” up front and 44.25” in the rear on 37s
Hmm, I mean they look like they would fit but I’m not sure.
If you want something that I know works because I’m running it on my truck it’s these even though they’re 3/4” not 1/2”...
Oh shoot also I just noticed you said you have the factory Bilsteins! In that case, absolutely do NOT swap out to the 5100s because it’ll be a complete waste of money. Your stock Bilsteins (4600 series) are 100% identical to the 5100s, the only difference is the 5100s are height adjustable while...
Hey man here’s a long response, but it may help. Basically, I would keep the spacer and not worry about replacing them with an inexpensive adjustable shock, because the cost to ride quality difference is negligible. I wouldn’t waste your money on the Bilsteins, you won’t notice a difference at...
I don’t understand why some trucks would react differently, they have the same hardware and software. I truly think it’s a placebo effect if I’m honest
It really doesn’t. I have 37s on my truck and I’ve gone back and forth between calibrated and not and it makes no difference. I really paid attention to shift points and shift speeds and how the truck reacted, and I never noticed any difference at all. And a lot of research I’ve done online...
