Will do! I'm dig up this thread when I get them. I'm going to run the OEMs through the truck's first winter for the sake of the salt. It isn't too bad in KY but I'm a clean freak.
Great news. I have some GM reps picked out I loved on my last truck and I think they would look great on my Ram.
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind and make sure my sequence is right.
How's the ride quality on these compared to stock? I imagine a little better with the larger sidewall. I'm debating tire options for when I upgrade my wheels in the Spring.
I had to search for 2020 Ram instead of 2022 like mine. It came up then. There's a message on the product saying it doesn't work with 2021 models. But there's reviews from owners of 2021s saying how great it is. So I decided to try it. Should be here in a few days.
They've been pulling options at random as the chip supply comes and goes. If you find a good deal that has everything except the lights, go for it. There are options out there for good lighting. But please don't put LED bulbs in your halogen housing - you will blind everyone on the road. Even...
I'll jump in on this, too. I came here from owning GM trucks and I like their wheel designs much better. If I do a GM wheel, is a hubcentric ring required? Some have said the bigger bore size will put too much pressure on the lugs. But I don't know much about wheels, offsets, etc.
Mine started 4-5 days after install. It started as an intermittent problem but now it's every time I start the truck
The brake light is probably my problem then because that's what I did. Makes me ticked after I spent too much on it but oh well. Now the challenge will be finding a...
I upgraded mine to some high quality units from Diode Dynamics after seeing great reviews on this forum. I now have Key Fob errors that are getting worse each day. So much for that idea...
The LEDs on my Laramie are some of the best I've ever owned, low beam or high beam. Maybe yours are aimed too far down? Not trying to discount your experience. I just know I was pleasantly surprised at their performance, especially considering they aren't a true projector.
I thought about...
I've had my 2022 Ram 1500 with the 3.92 for about 1500 miles now. My first choice was the 3.21 since I very rarely tow but I found a killer deal on this truck that I wasn't about to pass up. What I notice more than anything is how high the rpms are on the highway, which I expected. In a flat...
Been through three Silverados and an Audi A4 before the Ram. My current weekend toy is my Corvette. Details in my sig. It's so much fun. Can't believe I'm not in jail yet.
The danger in the shift to electric is it isn't being decided by the free market. No amount of R&D from automakers will be able to overcome massive infrastructure issues or buyer hesitancy. But unfortunately that won't stop certain groups from pushing the issue.
Putting LEDs in a halogen housing will improve lighting output for you but likely blind everyone else on the road. Without a projector, the light scatters and can't be properly aimed. Projector housings are a much more expensive option but better for everyone else you pass. Plus, they're more...
I ended up with a Level A. The only option I thought I would miss is the Blind Spot Monitor since I had it on my previous two vehicles. But, I think I like the small blind spot mirror within the side mirror better. I can see more and rely on sensors less.
