I really wanted the sunroof when I was looking for a truck but I found too good a deal on mine to pass up and it had everything else I wanted. Looking back I don't regret it. The main reason I like a sunroof is to let a little fresh air in on the highway but I've found opening the rear sliding...
No question - AWE for sure. I have their system on mine and it's excellent. It's a nice, rich, deep tone under throttle and very quiet the highway with absolutely no drone. The only time I even slightly hear it is when MDS kicks in. I've had exhaust on all my trucks but none have ever sounded...
UPDATE:
Since I bought the truck I've done an S&B intake, Hellwig sway bar, AWE exhaust, and most recently new wheels and a level today. It's all coming together nicely. Wheels are 20" Chevy Trail Boss replicas and the Motofab 2" level. Love the way it turned out. Only thing left is to paint...
New wheels and level installed! I also had the OEM tires turned to get rid of the white letters. Rims are 20" Chevy Trail Boss replicas and the motofab 2" level. Love the way it turned out.
Agreed. I had a 2020 Silverado RST 6.2 and it was a great truck for sure. More power and better mpg than my Ram. But the Ram is just a better truck overall. The interior is lightyears ahead. The updated GM interiors are just starting to show up at dealers. They look nicer and reviews say the...
They gave me trouble and so did the Diode Dynamics. My Recon has been the only trouble-free unit and so far, no condensation issues. Third brake lights shouldn't be this difficult haha.
I do the same thing to keep from waking up the family. Turn the headlight dial all the way to the left. The dial is to the left of the steering wheel, down where the adjustments are for the interior lights. Just remember to turn it back to auto when you get out.
After experiencing a lot of different ones my money will go to AWE moving forward. It's everything I've always loved about Corsa systems but with a deeper tone. I love mine!
Installed mine on my 2022. Love it! There's no huge power increase in any of them. But your throttle response will improve and the S&B unit makes the best sound in my opinion. Definitely wakes the hemi sound up!
Very. I can hear the exhaust a little in MDS but it still doesn't drone and doesn't make the helicopter noise like some other active fuel management systems do. I can definitely hear it going up hills but again, no drone. It's very pleasant.
Love mine but they were no easy feat to install. It was about 30 degrees out and no amount of heat gun was going to make them more flexible in those temps. Otherwise I'm sure it would have been much easier. They're very substantial and held up well over their first winter.
It wasn't much... just a golf cart on a strangely heavy trailer. But it was enough to strain the exhaust a little and it was wayyyyy quieter than I thought it would be.
Funny you should ask because I did this weekend and I rarely tow. It wasn't bad at all. You can definitely tell you have an exhaust system when towing up hill but otherwise it's quite tame.
